We have seen enough. The children of Sol cry out for salvation. You promised them life, but deliver only death, as you have for so many before. Enough. Enough death. Enough life. You have no pieces left to place. The game is over. Do not be afraid. Your pale heart holds the key. This time... There is no escape.
Would have to second, criticizing not complaining. This is supposed to be an entity that is an Eldritch being from an existential universe, he is supposed to be the embodiment of the extreme death cult version of Darwinism, but he looks like a soft squishy Megamind. I know I'm bad for expecting Lovecraft level monstrosities.
To me, it’s the eyes. The design is cool and unsettling, with the weird constant movement, faces smoking from the head and literaly wearing darkness like a cloak. But those eyes make him look like a disney version of Darth Malak
@@thedeependschanger1089 he's not supposed to be "an entity that is an Eldritch being from an existential universe, he is supposed to be the embodiment of the extreme death cult version of Darwinism" he's a follower of that being. maybe pay attention to the story.
To be fair he kinda has a point. The traveller as we know it has destroyed countless civilizations through the universe by straight up abandoning them. It comes and gives hope but then leaves the place a wasteland one it leaves because it takes all the hope it gave with it when it goes.
Yea. The traveler doesn’t abandon them, it’s just running away from the black fleet. If there’s no black fleet the golden age would never end. Or the traveler would have stayed at its first home
Tbf, it only did that because it was being chased down by the witness. If the witness's civilisation was so desperate to be led by it that never would've happen.
The faces that come out of his head are the same as his(maybe from different realities it’s just his face is covered but you can clearly see that his nose and eyes and eyebrows are the same which is crazy). Maybe explains why we hear so many voices because he is an entity that is a culmination of all the witnesses from other realities, that would be cool if that would be true
The traveller promised us life. But what do we do as guardians? We die. Over and over and over and over. Thousands upon thousands of deaths. An endless torment disguised as righteousness. Suffering, without end. The witness seeks to save us from this unliving hell. It will provide us with an end. The only way to stop the suffering wrought by the traveller is to allow the witness to undo the travellers wrongs. To reshape the universe. One final shape, to end all suffering.
Now, who’s the winnower? The winnower I feel would be the darkness version of the traveler, also another question, why are there hundreds of pyramid ships, but only 1 traveler?
The winnower is the pesonification of of the darkness (not the entity/witness/voice) in the story of the creation of the universe. It is not inherently good or bad, not does it have any sort of agenda.
The veil is the winnower In the last veil containment, Osiris tells nimbus the veil is darkness Watch a video about it I dont think i can explain it more
So is he the king of the pyramid fleet is he the one that sent them and that fleet I think we know who is gonna aim all those ships at by how pyramid ships are gonna destroy the traveler as they don’t bare any weapons on them as guns or cannons I’m a destiny 2 player and don’t know much so somebody please help me
@@m.jthomas5793 maybe that's where its own kind of live and if it does appear in Destiny three then maybe like warframe duviri paradox and the new operator King maybe the darkness race is more bigger than we thought or it can just appear in lightfall it could be a new open world just like warframe duviri paradox both are different dimensions
@@jackripper5712 there won't be Destiny 3, beyond light and witch queen are content that was going to be in Destiny 3, that's why the next expansion will be Lightfall
@@jackripper5712 so yes, maybe we get a new Open world in the Darkness dimension or in distorted worlds that got claimed by the Darkness, plus the new Veil enemy faction
@@LuisLopez-pi4fe actually there will be a destiny 3 since sony buy the company that owns destiny so I don't think it's a death for the guardian and I mean there is zanman of angels in warframe and the new war and the operator didn't died they were just a destabilized and they were in the void so I think the same can happen for the guardian if the witness vanish them into their own world same can be with planets
No i dont think they're the same at all. I think again we are being lied to & the winnower will use this power to take our light in lightfall. Game of flowers has 2 sides gardener vs winnower. Savathun told us when we stand on the line between light & dark we need only look up to see what has been watching us this whole time. This suggests there is a 3rd entity that sits in the middle of light & dark, which is the witness. The gardener is the traveller and has it's own form. The winnower is the darkness & (as we learnt time ago & which has now been demonstrated infront of us with that final cutscene with smoke-head) darkness is formless. The dude literally forms himself from black goo. he is not the witness. but a false prophet.
@@demsochimbo5383 No i was playing hungry hungry hippos with drop dead Fred. You have the gardener which is represented by the traveller sphere & all that it does. You have the winnower which is represented by pyramids & all that they do. You were told that there is an entity that sits on the line between light & dark (a neutral entity that has been watching us this entire time). When you stand on that line & look up you will see it. You were told this. Now you're presented with this new being that appears from a wall of darkness, literally walks on darkness & speaks to the traveller as though they are competitors. You are being led to believe that this neutral entity has decided that the darkness is the way forward. You are being fed a lie & it will cost you your light.
