Holy moly! That's awesome Craig. I loved the second version a lot, it's much stronger when the instructions card is face up and even the switch is more deceptive being hidden in the revelation itself. And just thought of this very simple idea... In the second version, you can have the spectator deal the cards face down to the selected number and then put the instructions card on top of the pile (this action could even be an step on the instructions) and that's it, you simply load the selection to the pile without having to do a switch.

I think the main draw back in this routine is stopping the person from counting the cards and having them hand it over to you. How long/ how many uses do you think the card will be good for before it loses it's stickiness?

Honestly, that’s not an issue because of the framing of the psychology behind the routine. I have been using the same card for six months with no problem. But I go through the tutorial how to reinvigorate it if you need to.

Congratulations on the new trick, it looks like a great variation on the "Sideswiped" principle you already explored well with the "Magic Button" project. Well done!

Such a clever routine! Thanks kindly for sharing. I guess if the plasti dip wears out you could use double stick tape but card cant be examined but honestly no one really wants to inspect the card. Brilliant trick!🎉

The small discrepancy exists in various tricks. Sideswiped, Curry's Touch, even and MB and Entourage. Always flies. Nice use of Plasti-Dip.

This is another EXCELLENT release from Craig... On 20th September I discussed this in relation to combining Craig's "Destiny Deal" with the other methods I mention in this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XD0EDjBq5Lw.html (be sure to also check out all the links in the description under the video at that link) As I explain in that video, combining Craig's presentation & "instructions" card along with the methods I refer to in that video make for (in my personal opinion) even cleaner handlings.

Hey Craig, just wanted to say this is the exact method I assumed when I speculated on the cafe (down to the exact substance used to treat the card.) I think it’s a little unfair to assume everyone who was commenting thought it was just a double lift.

Craig..at 10.10 on the vid.,..I think the name you were looking for was "the worlds greatest card trick" ( side swiped)..originally sold by Magicbox..I purchased it back in 2003...the nice thing about that trick is you leave them with a souvenir..but of course you do have to force!!...thanks for all you do..keep the magic alive regards Phil
