I already know i'm going to be hunter class...hope there's PVP though.

Watching this made me so sad...I was so excited for this game, and when I first started playing I noticed several differences but just shrugged it off and kept enjoy...but the differences became too apparent to simply shrug off. Bungie, the game you showed us looked to be one of the greatest games ever made...what we received resulted in one of the greatest disappointments for gamers...

Also, if you notice that the "Glimmer" banner for the possibly unknown race, it has triangles on it, which look a lot like those ships shown afterwards.

Wish all the factions made it in, but we'll see what happens in D3. Lots of concepts from this time are being re-purposed into the game now.

Europa seems nice. We need something like that in destiny. Snow and ice planet

In the one of the gameplay trailers something on the screen suggests that there might be a collectable in the game called 'glimmer', instead of a enemy called glimmer.

Venus = his description reminds one of C.S. Lewis' Perelandra. In the book, Venus is described as a lush jungle, with very unique beings inhabiting it. Just a fun connection there. :) The pyramid spaceships- what an amazing concept!! Gosh, am I THRILLED about this game! It looks sooooo incredible!

I think the pyramid ships are for the faction Osiris that was referenced in the beta

I really like how they use real locations in Destiny. Gives the story a more trustworthy feel.

pre ordered and waiting man haven't been this hyped since halo reach

Things in this video: The taken enemy card (yellow with the triangles and smoke), the taken ships (giant pyramid ships), the dreadnaught (chain bridge), Europa (rumored to be in the Taken King). And it only took 2 years of publicity and 1 year of actually having the game.

This just made me even more eager to get my hands on the game, thanks XD. I can't wait for the BETA. The more and more the video went into detail of the enemies made me more worried about the difficulty but excited at the same time.

This game seems perfect for making machinimas.

I get emotional by watching this, this is way beyond epic, goodbye call of duty, battlefield, need for speed, grand theft auto, goodbye everyone, I cant wait to have aan awesome adventure!

Kind of makes me sad after going back and watching this. I love Destiny but it could have been so much more. I still think Destiny will be getting really good in around 3-6 months, after plenty of DLC & free content expansions have dropped in order to give this game the story it deserves... Looking back at these old videos though.. what happened Bungie?

The Cabal. Well, that giant thing is not centurion. Its a Titan, and the spider walker is called a Devil walker + the hive guy in rags, he's called a wizard. And finally, in the hell mouth on the moon. A hive ogre is there(the ogre is a giant hive that at close it crushes you and from a far, it shoots a beam from its head).

this game is not even out yet and a tear just rolled out of my eye on how stoked up I am already to play it after watching this... bungie, you never disappoint me :)

It's not a whole bunch of people on one server but the game does seem-less matchmaking in the background so you end up meeting people randomly throughout the game.

I'm pretty sure Glimmer isn't a race. In the gameplay demo you can see that it's used as sort of a skill point when he uses his skills menu.

love games like this, it reminds me of phantasy star online... i played that on the dreamcast... for some reason, this game is making me exited because it reminds me of the excitement i had on PSO... and i feel this game will be that kind of style... where you can go and level up with people.... i mean, i just can't wait to see what it's going to actually feel like to play.

glimmer is a currency or type of resource you need along with weapon parts to upgrade weapons as shown as the blue/ aqua type of bar when refined as shown in one of the trailers for the species known as the exo it is not seen in this video but it is there. and if you don't believe me look at the official destiny gameplay. after the guy picks up the heavy MG he opens an upgrade screen and there Is a bluish icon that is needed to upgrade the weapon that rescore is glimmer not a new species.
