That's the reason I liked it so much. I dunno, something about Destiny 1's OST and locations make it feel more eerie. 2 doesn't retain the same atmosphere as much.
Yes it does, after you kill 343 Guilty Spark a similar song plays, it ends when you get to the Warthog, then it turns into the most epic Halo song in history.
I like what bungie has done with the vex recently, but they're missing something that only destiny 1 had. The mystery behind them, yes, they are still mysterious in nature, but it doesn't feel the same.
I agree. D1 felt so much darker, dirtier, more raw. D2 feels too clean and bright. D1 had so much mystery behind it - even if you read the lore, the Hive and their leadership were still a mystery. The Vex were this strange robot species thing that no one understood (hasn’t changed too much). The Cabal were a frightening military force that looked like it could trample over the city in a day if it wanted to. The Fallen were savage, desperate, falling apart. The Eliksni in D2, both ally and foe, just don’t feel as threatening or anything. The Cabal seem more like a joke, the Vex are mysterious but less so, and the Hive have been explained and delven into so much they’ve lost their mysterious parts. The world’s grown so much, but just feels empty.
@@gymshorts2tight382Agreed. Honestly the more d2 tells about each of the races the less impact they have. Let's be honest we'll probably just end up making friends with the races anyway, already got eliksni and cabal down, plus some help from hive. Vex seem more of a plot device now then a threat too. I figure if they can time travel they would know the fights they've had so far they would lose, just seems poorly done, especially for being such a mysterious and ominous faction in d1.
@@makisprites I do agree with you to an extent. The reason why the Vex haven’t been able to just jump through time to defeat us is because that’s exactly what they’ve been trying to do for a while. Everything with the “Dark Future” is basically the Vex winning. Their problem is they can’t conquer *this* timeline, the timeline of our Destiny.
Coming back to this song, I love it and it's eerie and mysterious atmosphere but my only problem is that loud as can be Robo-drone sound in the later half freaking making me deaf when I listen with headphones
