@chizel5451 No has taken away my ability to think for myself, I thought through the descision to make a covenant with my Bishop months and months before I made it. My life is so much better now. I am glad to be a part of Destiny Church and proud to stand with my Bishop making history in New Zealand. Oh and you can now watch us on TV3 at 6:30am Wednesday mornings :)
Y’all don’t know the spiritual blessing because you’re not living in yours, so you wouldn’t understand it. You glamorise his Luxury (houses, cars, money, etc) and hate him for it because that is where your value lies. His does not, you can see it in the fruit of his people, the way he speaks and lives is true, real and impacting. He’s blessed just like you and just like me. The difference is he takes it and owns it with confidence and that intimidates people because he’s untouchable, you can’t control him. Tamaki is an opportunist at best and a scamming conman at worst.. he's using his role to both feed his big ego and pockets. He could garner far more respect and support by being humble (supposedly as Jesus was), but he chooses to abuse his role. This greed and wanting to be worshipped will eventually be his downfall.

@1inAtrillion So where are the hospitals,Schools,pre schools,primary,high schools,universities,plunket services,sports complexes, bussiness centres and libraries? J Campbell said 90 people left the church, people walked out to say good bye to Pst Andrew and half went home and others went back inside later. The young guy who was interviewed was never even at the service and lied about it. He hadnt been to church for a long time. John Campbell is a liar along with the TV3 staff who put the story together
Whats wrong with helping people??? Whether or not you agree with what Destiny believe in or not, at least he is helping (Or at least trying to help people). If it was as bad as the media make Mr Tamaki out to be, don't you think there would be more complaints??? If he were that bad why is his church growing? I work up to 14 hours a day helping families and youth in school so our communities become a better and safer place for our future generations, what do you do?????
Hey everyone who's not keen on Brian Tamaki should look up Westboro Baptist Church! I swear to cookie monster that Brian Tamaki has just stolen their idea and made more money off it. Let me assure you that my love of money is nowhere near that of Brians lol, and I may not run my own business yet, but as a student doing my bachelor of commerce I can say I know a fair deal. No one is forcing anyone to give you say? try telling that to all those people who stormed out in Brisbane, and have left the church in NZ already. What i have learned in the past 6 months is the media only look at the one side of the story, i believe destiny have good kingdom principles and think Brian Tamaki is always praising God and thats what it all about, and the money side of things i dont believe we should be giving money towards his house or anything like that, but when people tithe they should have a chirst mind and give to the lord Jesus Christ, it says in the bible to tithe, but were not forced to
There is protocol in the Kingdom of heaven, which is founded in love, upon which there is no law, however until we as individuals become the embodiment of love, the protocol will grate against the flesh, fallen nature, or any spiritual forces against God. Paul said we see through a glass darkly, whereby the protocol can only be as good as the leaders understanding. The bottom line is if you don't like a church, you are free to find another one, but don't stop striving for spiritual growth and closeness to God.
@realkool3 Your the first person in ages to ask an intelligent question. Your asking what use does Destiny have for lots of money. Well Destiny's vision is to build hospitals, schools, pre school, primary, high school, univesity, plunket services, sports complexes, business centers, librarys etc & more. Our schools are growing and we need more classrooms which costs lots of money...lots of money like multiple millions of dollars. The vision is large and there is purpose to it all. Thanks :)
