Sometimes we as blacks people do not know why we have an abnormal lust for light skin. It’s not our fault because we have been trained unconsciously by the media since children. You guys should also check out Little Mix. They are the biggest girl group in the world right now! In fact, Kelly Rowland was the one who put them together on X-factor in 2011, which they later won. There is no lead vocalist in the group. They've been together now for 8 years. All the group members slayyyyy when it comes to vocals and choreography and they're so supportive of each other.

I cannot believe this song is 20 years old! What the -?! . . . Thanks a lot, Vevo, for reminding me how old I am! Even though Destiny's Child did extremely well as DC-3 (it turns out the ladies were able to pay their own bills), but the original four here have such textured and dense harmonies. You can hear that these 4 had been singing together for a very long time. This sound is much more special. Personally, I prefer the fuller vocals of the original Destiny's Child, but still love DC-3. "Writings on the Wall" will forever be one of my favorite albums of all time. "Say My Name" is the standout track in that regard, IMO, but this was a goodie to revisit - and an OLDIE, but a goodie it turns out. 20 year, really?!!. . .Dang.

The late 90’s was such a vibe. I believe I was a senior in high school when this dropped. I was obsessed with the matching fits, choreography and *gasped* when Kelly’s part came. I think this was one of her first songs you hear her voice. ❤❤❤

@KaeTV actually all the members not including Farrah, are all cool with one another now. Letoya (when she was pregnant) went to Beyonce tour. Beyonce has met and took pic with Latavia. Michelle and Toya are good friends. So maybe one day. But I believe the reason Destiny's Child hasn't reunited is because Matthew Knowles owns the music and all that

Two facts that werw intriguing about the Original Destinys Child. After the two original members were kicked and then Farrah...the current trio popularity went way up. Destinys Child worked better as a trio and i guess Michelle Williams staying power gave them credit. The second thing. Beyonce, Kelly and Letoya continued as solo artists in music and entertainment with Letota and Beyonce doing great acting rolesLatavia Robertson left the music to focus on motherhood and her life in Atlanta. Plus in Atlanta she focused on stage plays and occasional reality shows to drae income. I wish she would have gave music a better chance as an adult.
