Maybe you didn't fully understand the impact of those locations and the weight of history, but at least you were shouting *down with* Hitler, not *save* Hitler. The latter would have probably been a lot more awkward. I think there's something nice and maybe even poetic about the innocence of youth being able to play carefree like that in the shadow of that kind of history. Time enough to have some somber reflection on things later in life as you mature. I think I'd like to believe your appreciatiom for that history later in life was made somehow more poignant by the foundation your family was laying, even if you didn't appreciate it at the time. I think it's good for us to strike that balance between honoring and remembering the past so we can learn from it and appreciate those that hlped get us here, and not becoming so overwhelmed or crushed by it that we can't ever live in the present or dream of a future. In a chess tournament I legitimately had the "Oh you knocked your king over, you forfeit" thing happen to me. I had forgotten to hit the timer and she was letting me run down the clock (totally fair and my bad for being dumb). I noticed that I hadn't hit the timer and I went to hit it so quickly that I knocked over my king in the process. I stood it up right after and she called over a judge trying to claim I had forfeit. The even knew her personally and was still like "he clearly didn't mean to. Just say 'adjust' next time that you move a piece on accident". I then proceeded to 'adjust' pieces for the rest of the game.

It's hard to believe all that I Want Die has achieved over the years given his perpetual state of longing for death. In his search to find it he's had a successful sporting career, saved the Miitopia universe (with Mr Bean no less!), drifted past some of videogames' greatest celebrities in his kart, and, perhaps most epicly of all, has surpassed even Beethoven's musical talents with his cat and dog dressup performances! You might not be dead I Want Die, but what a way to live!

I love the name Gruempel. It's Grümpel (due to the ue) in Swiss German which means trash that you haven't thrown away/will never throw away because it might be of use in the future (like old bicycles, crates, tires, etc.).

Dan, have you ever considered playing Oxenfree? It's a story-based supernatural thriller with story-telling similar to Firewatch. It only takes around 3.5 hours to complete an ending so it won't take too much of your time. Also, a sequel is coming out soon this year.

I feel like Nintendo put more effort into the backgrounds/scenery than the actual gameplay itself. Sure some of the games are different, but I guess I would have thought they’d release something more like Wii Sports Resort, as it had more variety. That said, the background of those games were mediocre at best. Sure you could say it was the era, but the enjoyment that I see folks having with this game compared to the older ones is lacking.

Honestly I would love to see RT try hoi iv. Just the absolute brain melt of trying to learn, all the way up to the first time he gets naval invaded would be true chaos.

Not to say I know how much it costs, but a regular person doesn't costs much to perform a hit on. Anywhere from like 500 or so to about 1,200 dollars is kinda standard. If they're armed or have firearms in a household, usually around 2 to 2.5k for a normal person with a firearm. Anything more than that just depends on the target. These prices are from a few years ago I believe though, who knows what it is now? At least, these are the prices me and some pals found like 3 or 4 years ago on the dark web.
