Just brilliant. This is how magic should be presented at all times. Personally, Ben's style and work is one of the things that keeps me interested in illusionism and magic in general, because otherwise the artform seems to be dominated by overly clownish, goofy, Penn-and-Teller-sque magicians more focused on eliciting laughter than showcasing something intriguing.
I've watched this video about 6 times now. Not because the magic is anything more than what we know, but this is an example of why Ben Earl is one of my favourite magicians of all time. He is an absolute beast. Making such simple magic seem so fantastical. Ben Earl is a beast.
I love the vibe this video creates. The atmosphere, the music, the editing, the magic, the reactions. Just overall gold, give us more please. Chapter 4,5,6,7 … don’t stop 😅
I gotta say, I e always been a huge fan of the idea of "how much can I milk a situation if I just had only one regular ass pack of cards." And this material, of course many being based off things we all do or know, has a way of feeling new and refreshing. I love the small subtleties and simplified routining. Big fan of this. Might just have to start leaving the house with a deck of cards like when I was 18. You learn and learn all these crazy new things and completely forget just how strong you can make something simple. Especially for the drunk or high crowds who will def not have long attention spans for 45 phase routines. This is gold. And I love how you named the chapters based on what the audience said. The computer thing, the catholic heavens gate thing, that's great. I'm a sucker for performance videos, so keep them coming and Ben, I'd love to meet you at a magifest some year! Kudos bros!❤😮😂🎉
I'm not commenting on the effects themselves, but on how Ben presents them. Absolute class ♥️. Would love to meet him someday just to discuss how he comes up with presentation ideas for his effects.
Beautifully performed Ben has always been my favourite performer, his performance on pen and teller was epic too, if you haven't already go and get quarter past midnight dvd set you'll not be disappointed
You're so great the way you perform. I rarely comment especially on magic but you have a gift my friend! K. I'm dumb, but do you have any material out for download?
The first trick is really interesting, because unlike a lot of magic trailers, I don't think we're seeing the intended/ideal outcome... but the audience are none the wiser.
The trick happens at 3:10-3:15. Simple top change but you need to cover it up with the presentation. ( The control of the 2 of d to the top is slightly before and a few false shuffles before the riffle)
Let’s see your video of you performing it with the same level of skill. I get it buddy your horrible as a magician and instead of praising someone’s hard work and maybe even taking the time to learn the effects as he teaches it you just aren’t good enough so you have to bash it…..that makes better sense on why you posted what you posted
Great performance, but be aware he dont teach nothing new, only how to to great magic w old moves like double lif,top change and more but he show you just different approach and idea! For me if you lear from book and videos and practice you can come on w your on idea and who know top it up!
@@JobCambronero Magic is the art of deception and illusion. EVERY magician uses secret methods to fool their spectators including sleight of hand. David Blaine, for example, is all sleight of hand. You don’t think he’s a real magician? You’re on the wrong channel if you believe sleight of hand isn’t magic.
If you think that chapter 2 is some worse version of 2 card monte either you are a totally novice magician or don’t see expert handling of playing cards. Your comment was stupid sorry
