Just to make it clear. I'm not trying to bash one of the games with these video. I just find these comparisons interesting since both games are very similar. Weapon Comparison: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SQyxwr48gk0.html
@prezzbelikeme As said in the description it's BF2042 - which is at the end of it's last season. Around 2 years out now. Compared to Delta Force Hawk Ops --- Alpha --- it isn't released, not even a beta. So yeah i guess they will change and improve quite a bit before they launch it
COD is more for casual players, and it's boring AF. Children of Duty. I played multiple COD titels, and it lets me down every time after a couple of weeks. It's too easy and the same old same.
Lol the devs who made that destruction possible have left dice and farmed embark. The folks who made the finals. And the destruction in that game is TITS
@@TheCadWoman May be due to Huge mismanagement, work from home, lockdown issues for 2042 development. But this time, with BF6 which is already taking 4 years, there is no excuses at all.
I'm sure that was just a destruction test made with Houdini and it'll never be playable. Most of the veterans left the studio in 2019 (even Marcus Letto left last year) and DICE is still aiming to sell skins. Battlefield died the moment they decided to smell Warzone's ass instead of working on the stuff that makes people buy their games...
You can really still tell the power of the frostbite engine in BF2042. Just a shame they really messed up the base game. Delta force looks really solid, even the gun models and animations are top tier. Love these comparison videoes! Awesome job
@@Masface1 They are not exactly copied, but heavily inspired yes. Place holder animations were removed months ago.. And it looks awesome. MW19 to this date has the best gun animations so we should be happy about that.
2042 is simply far ahead in the destruction department. The amount of granular destruction and the way things react to you, something that we just take for granted nowadays in Battlefield is crazy!
the destruction in 2042 is dogshit compared to previous bf titles. especially bf5, EVERY BUILDING could be almost completely leveld. now in 2042 a couple buildings might explode but nothing like previous titles
@@KlassiK407 If the new Battlefield game is still playable on the PS4 and XB1, then forget about any true innovations. If it's a next gen only game with 48-64 players, then I think it'll be a huge leap in fidelity like from BF4 to BF1
Delta Force is alright. But to be fair it has alot from other games, specifically Battlefield and Call of Duty. The use of specialists makes it far less different from Battlefield 2042... If lets say, it rather went in a more gritty- Battlefield 3 direction. Then sure, I'd see this game as a MASSIVE win for us Battlefield fans but unfortunately is just... Sticks to the modern-era hero shooter formula with less destruction from any Battlefield game. I will say the game has a right to succeed but I personally am not as interested in these titles as I wish I could have been. Maybe i'll try it out- Until then- to those who enjoy these games- No Hate from me! Enjoy it!
The only means to break down a metal bar are bayonets, explosives, and vehicle. I think it was made on purpose for the guys without explosives like medic, support, and scout. They only have grenedes
Next game is the last chance for the franchise. I truly hope they can make a good game. Doesn't have to be 10/10 best ever, just feature complete and working.
this video certainly highlights the difference in detail between Unreal and Frostbite, or at least the fact that DICE thought about how to handle those details, and how Team Jade hasn't ... yet
none of the things shown here were added in 2 years, but if we're talking about incomplete launches we can discuss the 12 months of broken netcode and unstable performance on BF4, followed by another 6 months of a one-shot-kill bug that was rampant in every server, followed by a netcode that actually has never been fixed to this day
@@Holdthetomatoesplz I just wanted to clarify that this comparison is being made with a game that was in pre-alpha, and the other one had taken 2 years to be complete.
@@MarschallTV the comparison is being made because DFHO is clearly lifting a lot of content from 2042, which would make the comparison accurate for gameplay elements. But the release dates don’t make any difference since everything shown was in both games during their alphas. If this were a video comparing content which couldn’t be found in 2042 during its alpha, then that would be a good comparison, but we’re not
Delta Force looks ok. Battlefield has the potential to be the greatest fps game if they make the right choices, unfortunately EA and Dice are idiots...
@@year19844 ur stupid if you think 2042 is "boring" it's not liked because it's not as immersive or cinematic as other bf games and some stupid decision making but in terms of pure fun even bf 2042 is is miles ahead of df and cod
Let's keep in mind how dramatic of a downgrade 2042 destruction is even from a BF1, a game that's almost ten years old. Hell I don't remember Hardline too well but I'm pretty sure even it had better destruction.
Hardline was iffy in the destruction department. Sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't. Dustbowl for example, you would think would have tons of destruction. But doesn't have like ANY. There's a lot of levolution in hardline, but very little actual dynamic destruction. BF1 blows every game in the franchise out of the water in destruction IMO
Bf3 Grand Bazaar map were you can shoot the side of buildings and the walls will crumble and fall. And if theres is infantry in the way of falling debris. It would recognized the damage you cause and give you the kill. Now that was fun battlefield game, but still a downgrade from bf:bc
It’s a bit of disappointment that they went for UE4 and not the 5 because with Nanite Chaos and Niagra they could easily make whole maps to blow up without heavy performance issues
When you know how long it took them to get to where they are now, you will understand that they also have to balance the mobile side. There is a lot of room for improvement, but it is not impossible to do.
BF 2042 has surprisingly been my go-to game for 2024. The gunplay is amazing, and the firefights on the Frontlines mode are awesome. It's horrible start made it so that the game doesn't last as long, which is a shame because it plays very well now that it's more polished. This should put devs on notice to actually fucking complete their games before trying to meet some deadline.
i prefer bf2024.. im a bf veteran and i have 400 hours in bf2024.. i didnt get the hate for this game, i just took it easy and saw this game as a new Title and it worked.. people said bf2024 had awful destruction, thats wrong, just look at this Video!.. Problem is when people talk about destruction they want to delete whole buildings and maps which makes no real sense in a multiplayer game for me, bf2024 is the perfect Balance...
I've been playing DF:HO for a couple of weeks now on the Alpha, it's been fun, it's a nice looking game, but as a long time BF player (since BF2) it's just not got the same feeling for me. I'll keep playing it for a bit more, see if it gets better, but right now, I'm diving back over to BF V for some WW2 shenanigans and beautiful maps :D
delta is amazing but it feels a bit static, it needs that final touch of details in the animations. i hope you they improve it more in the official game
Just a reminder that bf2042 is now 3 years old and has had time to improve gameplay, graphics, bugs and more. While delta force is still in its alpha stage and it’s FREE.
Destruction is supposed to be a core part of the Battlefield experience. It's sad that some people have forgotten because Battlefield has seemingly forgotten.
yeah it can't really compare to battlefield in many ways. just the lack of water explosions is pretty terrible. hopefully they get that fixed before release
I have been playing battlefield and call of duty games since my childhood. I am 35 years old. Delta Force may be a good game but it cannot replace BF and Cod.
The one thing that Battlefield does way better than Delta Force in this video is the atmospheric sound quality. Battlefield's weapons not only sound better, but the weapon sounds actually react to the environment you're in. In Delta Force, your weapons sound pretty much the same whether you're outside or inside.
Does it make sense to compare a game that has been polished for the past three years with a game that has not even reached alpha at this point? They could add more immersive destruction at final relase, or am I wrong? Just asking, no offense.
yes because you're not comparing elements that were added in the three years of post-launch updates. Everything you saw on 2042 was there on launch day
@@Holdthetomatoesplz You have a point here. But on the other hand it's not launch day of Delta Force Hawk Ops yet. So, at this state developers still have the chance to finetune things until launch.
@@martinkay67 that’s true; I will say though that people claimed the same thing about Battlebit, so only time will tell of the devs of Delta Force follow a different path. And for what it’s worth, I’m fairly confident that at least in this instance, the features shown in this vid for 2042 were in the game during its alpha, we just don’t have that detailed video comparison or clips from its alpha to use as a comparison. Still not an equal comparison right now, but it’s not like this video takes elements that were added to 2042 post-launch. It’s just down to Delta Force to deliver post-launch
The power of engine Frostbite remain and still far ahead this game., but the devs who used to work with it left already. BF2042 was a product made by new hired devs. I hope the next Battlefield they will get more time to polish it and optimized before launch.
Why do we never see vehicle comparisons? Thats like the one thing 2042 still does better than all these recent "battlefield killers" and yet people ignore it lmao
BF 2042 still looks great, but I hope DICE can fight EA and understand that we don't want a copycat live service. Its biggest mistake was nerfing the destruction and putting the game towards 200 players then back peddling. They need to give us the same destruction that was showcased in 2020, I hope they can take the positives of the past couple of BF titles.
For right comparing you need to compare BF2042 on the alfa test because Delta is on test now its not realized version, not after 2 years of patches. Plus delta Force is FREE to play and BF 50$ and not supported by the dev anymore
Yes, because it's pre alpha and somehow working better than BF 2042 almost ever did. It's not Battlefield or perfect but if this is pre alpha... well let's see if they can deliver content and people go for it.
@@datguyoverdurr2604 None of this "killer of x game" geez. It never works out like that. Might be good, might die in a few months. Looks solid if really plagiarized. Gonna play this instead of 2042 for sure. I mean the UI is near identical already no need to learn new things.
In the areas Delta Force does have destruction, it's pretty good; sometimes even slightly better than 2042 (Like roof destruction.) But man, does battlefield just have more and better looking destruction. Even makes bf2042s measly destruction look plentiful.
Its crazy how BF2042 is still ahead in the destruction department while compared to all the other Battlefield games the level of destruction that BF2042 has is almost nonexistent 😅
If bf2024 has a a better destruction system your game is cooked. I think all these Battlefield clones and even the original battlefield developers doesnt get what fants want. They want destruction as in Bad Company 2 back. Just pure fun, chaos and destruction combined with a simple but effective class system which allows team play and various playstyles. Its really not that complicated. The only game which understood that, is Battlebit, but this game struggles on the atmosphere side and polishing of good old battlefields. I mean Ea really just would need to remake BF BC2 or port it into their recent engine and dont change anything about it or its destruction systems and people would buy it in masses. At this point I literally feel gaslighted by the company because they want me to believe that fans would want Operator / hero shooter esque Battlefield nowadays. But I dont know one Battlefield Veteran or player how wants that at all. And yeah they add all these trend systems because to market analytics etc but they completely forget about their target audience. And many people of the original target audience left at 2042.
Oh my, and to think that BF2042 already was a massive step back from BF3 and BF4... PS: Everyone who thinks Delta Force will be a good game has learned nothing from the disaster that was BF2042.
What has 2042 being shit has got to do with delta force. Delta force is free to play, already very optimized and has many legacy features. 2042 didnt flop just because of heroes.
В дельта форс абсолютно мертвое окружение , но интересная физика стрельбы , звуки на мой взгляд лучше в battlefield и внимание к мелочам тоже в battlefield больше
@@michaelparissi3233 the copy is more polished than 2042 at launch lol and it's still in pre alpha! 2042 only wins in destruction and graphics Everything else goes to Delta force
Hawk Ops didn’t do the smart party and go unique . They used one of the worst things to battlefield too, operators . If your games just going to be a combination of games, take the very best aspects and make them unique .
The thing about BF is that the destruction was part of its gameplay and what made it stand out than other shooting games. They removed those big game changing destructions in 2042 and added more granular destruction. Which is cool but its nothing game changing.
Interesting work, obviously a free game has some disadvantages against at no-free game, bf2042 in current state is a really good and fun game, but with a poor content (maps, weapons, builds levolution and other things).
The comparison is unfair, on the one hand we have a free game in alpha, developed by a studio that has not only been making FPS for 20 years. On the other hand we have a game with two years of updating, paying more than 60 euros, which has still not reached the standards of the license !
All i want for the next bsttlefield is for my pc to be able to run it. 2042 had been s performance nightmare since day 1. It id waaaaaay too CPU bounded.
