Mitch was a legend and only being 28, he definitely lived life hard. I wish I had heard of them before his passing, he seems like an awesome dude. \m/ RIP
Sabotage Official same here, I’ve known about their band for years, but was kinda scared of their music back in the day, not only till about a year ago did I really give it a chance.. and now SS is in my top 3 favorite bands.. can’t go back in time.. but how I wish I would’ve been able to meet Mitch atleast once..
me too bro me too RIP an LEGEND! I think the god´s gave him the evidence that they still there so he had this Accident were the god showed him, now he is death. so when you do a song like this in pure hate. You get maybe the evidence you don´t like to get. RIP
It was! I wish three original members, Rick Ash, Mike Bodkins and Josh Goddard would rejoin Suicide Silence permanently and play new songs from every album! That would be the best thing for the band! Do you want Rick, Mike and Josh to rejoin Suicide Silence?
In my opinion, much better than the current line up! I know, Hernan Hermida kicked butt in Suicide Silence, I appreciate it. I'm talking about the original 3 bandmates, original lead guitarist Rick Ash, original bassist Mike Bodkins, and original drummer with that scary mask on his face, Josh Goddard! They nailed this song! I would love it if Rick, Mike and Josh finally rejoin Suicide Silence for good and play new songs from every single Suicide Silence album from "The Cleansing" all the wat to "Remember... You Must Die"! Are you with me to bring Rick, Mike and Josh back in the band? I better hear you shout, "Heck yeah!"
Bring Rick Ash, Mike Bodkins, and Josh Goddard back in Suicide Silence and have them practice and perform new songs from every Suicide Silence album! I would be so happy if that will come true! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I remember first seeing this video and immediately uploading it to my myspace page and watching it blow up, watching them blow up. Then, I saw them play at the First Christian Church in my hometown of Santa Maria,CA a small town off the 101. Mitch drop kicked me at the start of a song and later signed my copy of the EP. Dont forget the little fans SS.
The original lineup is my favorite deathcore band of all time because they truly kick ass. To me, no other band ever came remotely close to represent what deathcore is all about!
I can see what you mean. I started off listening to super technical shit when I got into the more extreme ends of metal. So my taste in -core music was similarly oriented towards the technical bands. It was an easy jump to go from a band like Death to a band like born of Osiris. If you can get into Cryptopsy, Dying Fetus, and Suffocation, Thy Art is Murder, Despised Icon, and Job for a Cowboy are all comparable deathcore equivalents. But deathcore that didn’t emphasize the technical aspects of extreme music and instead were driven by a strong performance and catchy riffs and lyrics needed a different foundation. While traditional death metal and hardcore can be strong in both of these, the first bands that really blended metal and hardcore in a way that translated to a live show that you can intuitively sing along to at a show, in your car, in the shower, and just jamming with friends were korn, slipknot, and deftones. And suicide silence did just that, take the simplicity and commercial appeal of nu metal and played it at the pace of death metal
Back in 2018 they've been playing a new song on their live sets called "The One." From the sound of it, it appears to be continuing the Korn sound of their self titled.
I like to imagine Mitch and Trevor S. From TBDM and Lemmy and Dimebag all chilling in the afterlife talking shop about music. Why do the good always die so early man?
Idk how I never noticed that mark wasn't an original member! I've literally been listening to them since this came out. Rip Mitch 💙 these are some of the coolest dudes I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Yes, it was! We need Rick Ash, Mike Bodkins and Josh Goddard back in Suicide Silence for good! Not only to play new songs from all of the albums they have never played before with Suicide Silence, but also to share love and support to the fans and honor Mitch Lucker! Rick, Mike and Josh are original guitarist/bassist/drummer in the band, so they deserve to rejoin this band and play new songs from every single Suicide Silence album! Are you with me?
