DETACHABLE BLADE FADING FOR DUMMIES! SO EASY A TEST DUMMY COULD DO IT! Obviously not calling anyone a dummy, just letting you know that it's really easy.
The detail work is the key. That extra mile makes customers come back because they know their barber/hairstylist cares about great work. Great vid as always!! 🙌🏽😎
Yeah he’s hella underrated! He’s so sick with it though man. People need to watch this guy because he’s killing it everytime he puts a clipper to a head
Yet again, crazy blurred out blend! I’d love to see a video explaining how your equipment is set up too! Those modded seniors and the JRL’s in particular! I’ve always been a bit intimidated by the JRL’s but curious as well because I see that blend they create!
Really working on this technique to get my time down!! I love using both detachables and adjustables Using detachables to lay the framework of your fade is Genius and fast.
We've been doing this since the 80s and 90s. New barbers started the adjustables only method and no detachables. Cut come out cleaner, even and more blurred using detachables 1st and then detail with adjustables
Have you ever used the andis phat blade? It gives you basically the same result but you can use the lever instead of switching out guards. It’s a great tool that is very under appreciated. Smooth fade!
Well if you have an extra master laying around you just have to get a replacement phat blade and slap it on and you’re good to go. It’s worth a try. It’s so clutch. Secret weapon. 🔥
I self-cut my hair. And I never had a smooth gradient until I followed your steps in this video. Thanks for another great tutorial. I have Oster 76 and used 1 1/2, 1A, 1, 0A, 000, and 0000 blades.
I love the video! Please continue making more tutorial videos with the Oster Octanes! Also, are Andis detachable blades compatible with the Octanes? Specifically Andis UltraEdge detachable blades (1 3/4″ Blade)?
This may be silly but Oster blades compared to the octane is the same sequence, the Oster may be a little tight but it’s all the same correct? Plus you’re using a ceramic blade on your cordless which makes up for any dark spots and/or finishing touches..
No silly questions Bro we all start somewhere at least you asked. The Octane is made by Oster but there are many detachable blades available that Wahl & Andis make. As well as detachable clippers with many many form factors and pros and cons. As for the blade the ceramic blades are available aftermarket as well but the Andis Ceramic blade is perhaps the most commonly used blade by barbers for Oster blades. The dark spots and details are all the man with the tool. Don't forget bro this man has skills we don't as romantic and awe inspiring these videos seem the reality is that average Joe's or even hair cutting enthusiasts who enjoy these educational videos wouldn't even come close to doing what these barber's can do. Do your homework study products and learn about the tools the guy aside from religious beliefs is definitively inspiring me to want to consider barber school Or At least mess up my hair trying to get better at self cutting. Good luck with any and all tools you acquire.
Straight heat, and I definitely dug the explication because I have a detachable clipper but I have never used them since they are brand new and I want to learn how to cut with them so this definitely helped. I have a question about your mod on the Seniors. Does it have the same amount of throw from the closed to open blade like the actual masters do, because I’ve yet to see a clipper open as farther from closed blade to open blade like the masters?
Thank you 🙏🏻 no it still doesn’t open as far as the master blades but it definitely gives it a crunchier feel and sound like the masters do. I wish it did.
S.Craft Blendz I loved how you slowed it down, and just walked us through your process. Would you be open to doing a full length tutorial at normal speed?
Absolutely! I just figured it’d be to long for people to watch lol. They say the sweet spot is around 14-16 minutes that’s why I speed it up. But I’ll do it and see what happens 😂
Detachable blades was the best investment a make very good video bring more 😀😀😀🙏🏾🙏🏾 . All my blades are andis but I have one from oster 1/5 with ceramic blade some time he pulls hair maby you now the solution?
Thank you 🙏🏻 I actually put the ceramic blades on mine because I had a few that was pulling hair so I was looking a solution and they actually work better for me. It could be that they just need to be Wore in a lil bit
Nice nice nice...👌... cant wait to get back to work and try a few new things I've seen in ur videos...unfortunately still have to wait till July to be able to work.. need some detachable andis blades at a good price If anyone knows of anywhere to get em...keep up the good work bruva 👏😁
I still use them. Not as much as my seniors. Mainly because for RU-vid it’s easier to teach with clippers that everyone has however I’ll make some videos with those as well for people that have JRL
although it says the blade leaves it longer it does blend right into it , i use a system where i use the 2 closed and then 2 blade and it blends perfectly
@@amberpushak1479 you can buy the detachable blade you desire for your appropriate machine then obtain a ceramic blade from Andis or aftermarket option amazon has many options and then switch out the carbon blades with the ceramic blade. Highly recommend learning about the detachable blades themselves as they are very different and have to have the tension set correctly in order to safely and properly use.
But be sure which ever detachable blade you buy use swap or replace customize to your liking etc is 100% compatible with whichever application for its intended use safety first.
@@JG-or9ej I realized the Andis Ultra Edge blades but the Octanes so that opened up the possibilities lol. I was only searching for Oster detachable blades
