I press my roots with a thermal hot comb (I have a hot comb stove) in semi large sections. Then, I break those sections down into very, very small sections for flat ironing. Comb pressing my roots and edges gives me a smoother, more finished look. ❤️

This is a great vid. I've decided recently to embrace my natural hair but I still want to wear straight styles so this will be great once my natural 4c hair grows out long enough

If you have the time and patience, you would probably get the same or even better results with less heat if you flat iron your hair in very small sections. ❤️
