'ROSA', our Valentine themed red Crochet Dress for Wedding parties, Dinner Parties, Bridal Trains etc was worked in 7 main parts for a size 7 individual.
Stitches used were:
🧶 Houndstooth
🧶 Sc
🧶 V stitch
🧶Part 1: We worked the torso from the armpit downwards first using the Houndstooth stitch for as long as the navel point.
🧶Part 2: 2 rows of sc was worked in a hook size lower before inserting a v stitch into every sc to create the voluminous skirt region for the required length.
🧶Part 3: We worked side slits into the skirt and extended the back panel about 3 inches longer than the front panel
🧶Part 4: We returned to work the Houndstooth stitch upward to the neck line creating the asymmetrical arm hole as went along. We worked the front panel first then the back panel inserting a triangle onto the back as shown and described in the video
🧶Part 5: We worked the straps then edged the neck line and arm holes to give the strap some width
🧶Part 6: We edged the base of the dress along with the slit
🧶Part 7: We worked the flattened rose flower and attached same onto the front panel of the dress.

✔️Diaphragm
✔️Waist
✔️Hip
✔️Desired length of Dress
Very easy to follow for intermediate and advanced Crochet skill levels.
Note that this same technique can be replicated for any size just by adjusting the measurements.
