No that is not the case if " Hands Free " is enabled, because if it is enabled even after you remove your finger the headset stays on and engaged with others. However if you turn off the " Hands Free " mode it only works when you apply pressure on A1, A2 and as soon as you remove your finger it will go back to standby.
I brought one from HME website but it will not turn on It is registered and the battery is fully charged I have contacted HME about it but they didn’t know what was going on with it
Use a Que-Tip with rubbing alcohol on it and swipe clean the battery terminals, and the terminals for the battery inside the headset battery compartment, and see if that helps.
