This video was made about few years ago. Car still drives good last time I checked few days ago. Disclaimer: NO ENGINES WERE HURT IN THIS VIDEO!

What kind of degreaser do you use ?

I use Supeclean degreaser. It’s the best out there I would say. I dilute it 50/50 and it gets the job done. Best for engine cleaning and tires.

Yo you got water in the air intake bud. Isn’t that bad? Its the square hole in the corner of the bay next to the battery. I stuff it with a towel.

There was not much water going there. It's all good. Thanks for the tip and next time will put a towel there. And btw after I'm done with engine bay detailing I run the engine for 15 -20 mins, so it dries up all the water anywhere and this car had no issues.

These cars have a water catch spot with a drain hole in the intake

Hey, you did not cover the air intake, did your car give you any trouble afterwards?

Nope! Started right back up. I usually idle it for 20mins to make sure. As long as you keep your pressure washer at distance all will be good.

@@andremdetails Thanks for the reply, I recently washed my Accord and forgot to cover the intake, was worried that it would cause damage. Feeling somewhat relieved now

@@user-zk2bv4ju4t you’re welcome! I started covering the vent as well to be safe. But always keep the water hose or pressure washer at a distance and don’t stay on an area too long, you will be good. 😃
