I have had three AutoCAD suites (V2014: Product Design, Building Design, Infrastructure Design - had a one-time opportunity to get them, so that I could design for "Thing", "Space", and "Place in World") for over 5 years without being able to put some of them to use. Your videos are the first ones I've seen (from anywhere in the world - including from so-called Autodesk Ambassadors) that just chewed through the whole process of a building plan in a clear and concise way. Well done - it's like the missing manual ;-).

Also if possible if you can share a tutorial on multiple floors and curved walls and one last thing if possible how to determine the floor from the wall from the ceiling or roof in multiple curved designs. many thanks for making these vids. you have a real talent. re- inserting a camera image onto a sheet, can i help others who may be struggling. : set up a camera to get the view you want and give it a name. > then type SAVEIMG. save to wherever. Open the sheet to insert into. open directory to half window size and then drag that file onto the sheet. simples.... to insert a jpeg onto the same sheet. Click INSERT (next to the home tab) click ATTACH. find your jpeg photo and then click on the sheet where you want it to go. Important... drag out a window to the size you want it to be. otherwise nothing will appear.
Congratulations very good series of videos, you learn a lot. One question: if after doing this you want to make a change such as lengthening or shortening a wall, you have to do it in each plane, is it done in one and updated in all?

How did you get your new sheet template to come in? I couldn't change my template from the original default template. I'm in AutoCAD Architecture 2024.
I’m trying to take pieces of floor plan drawing to put in Microsoft word to make a report. Could you please make a video that instruct how to export those floor plans into image files that are clear enough to be used in Microsoft word? I have been searching for the instructions but have not seen a good one yet!
Hi Edward, I love your videos and I learned so much. I have one question related to this video. If I drop the views to the sheets than my views are not black and white. I have all colors inside. How can I solve this issue? I want to drop it in the sheets and if I click than I want to have only black and white lines. Thanks for your response. Have a nice day
Sounds like your layouts are using the wrong plot style. If you're using the sheet template I used in this series, you should not have this issue. Check out this video and download the sheet template from the description ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yyoijSJDlfo.html
Go back in to your template file and check the "file path" in your xref pallete. Sometimes it's not correct. Once you fix that, it should be loaded into all your sheets.
In previous video, you put GRID LINES and PROPERTY BOUNDARY to Elementary Category. In this video, it has been changed to Constructs Category. The reason maybe Elementary can't be overlaid to a view. Am I right ? Tell me a bit more, please. Thanks
Hey Edward, So I'm trying to edit the metric sheet template. the Metric Sheet template for A3 seems to be different from the others. It appears in portrait orientation and is missing a couple of stuff. Does this mean I would have to recreate it to look like the others? Don't know if I'm clear enough

So that's something I did off screen. You'll have to add the details in like I demonstrated in this video, from the project navigator, project settings dialogue.
