Robyn has been drama since she entered the family. he didn't want to take family funds to help Mariah go to the college she wanted to but yet he brought in a woman who had three children and then knocked her up. Where Christine has been struggling to have a closer relationship to Cody. I got to say what an asshole move to be dating another woman while your current wife is pregnant.

I decided to go back and re-watch all the seasons starting from season 1. I'm on season 6 and right now it breaks my heart that Cody doesn't want to take from the family funds because of how many other children he has to pay for and she might not get into the school she wants. And yet he brought another woman into the family who has three children and knocked her up while his third wife was still pregnant. I'm amazed that all my thoughts about Robyn after looking on the internet and RU-vid are the same that almost everybody else has. And knowing they moved to Flagstaff so Robbins two older kids could go to that college makes me sick because they were so unhappy there. So he sacrificed the children he had to take on a younger woman who had three children and thought it a good idea to have more with her when he can't pay for the ones he has.

I hope Christine and her children have moved home to Utah to make a happier life for all of them. It would be even better if Robyn also left Kody and Janelle went to live near her older children and Meri marries again and lives happily ever after. Now that's a show I would watch.
Mary should just leave. She has her own business and she can take care of herself. Now that he is getting older he probably can't handle all those women anymore. Robyn acts sweet, but I think she controls Cody and is now in control. Mary is the 1st wife and deserves respect.

I am surprised none of the other wives haven’t approached him about the fact that he bought a million dollar house for Robyn and himself and their kids, which puts them behind in building on the land. He also has removed his name from Christine’s house. He’s playing the long game... so if things start to fall apart he and Robyn are secure. He even admitted that he had lost interest in the land and doesn’t even like talking about it...he said he may just sell it !!! There you go! Janelle is in a tiny rental and I think her kids have to live in a caravan outside her house!! This is so ridiculous. This is not going to last...it’s spelling the beginning of the end I’m afraid. Good for her!! I always really liked Christine and I hated that she was pregnant, having a new baby, dealing with postpartum, and Kody was busy honeymooning with Robyn! Smh. Not only did he ruin what he had with Meri by divorcing her to marry Robyn, he ruined what he had with Christine at that moment as well I think. Once the time came, Christine left. I think she always knew she would after Robyn came in the picture, but she had a new baby with Kody... maybe that’s why Kody got her pregnant to begin with.

I’ll never get this whole way of life. Life is so hard to begin with in any marriage but being a wife on the lookout for your husbands new wife number 4, WTH? When Mr.Ego married (cryass Robyn) and divorced Meri I cried with Meri that was sooo hurtful that was when the show went to hell in a hand basket they should all leave him Christine did now but Meri has to walk away OMG the way he treats her i would knock his block off..She deserves sooo much better they all do
Why did Kody want to spend so much for Robins house when the other wives homes are much smaller and not as expensive. Why did the Brown family dynamic change when Robin entered the family? Kody without a doubt has a "favorite wife" also Robin is not considered a "sister wife" but is "the wife".....
These two convinced Mary to get a divorce so Robin would be his legal wife. She wants to run off the other sister wife's so she can have him all to herself. Why I don't know
because she really is monogamous, which is not a sexuality one can just change about themselves. and monogamous is the majority sexuality. polyamorous, polygamy, and the lgbtq are minorities also can not just be chosen.
The wives did too. The exception besides Robyn was probably Meri. He married her first and had a large church wedding. Their wedding picture they showed most often, shows him to have been very handsome while Meri, very attractive, and both glowing with young love. Their marriages in the plural "community" had far less to do with love than their religious beliefs. Love usually grew out of their relationships.
I couldn't believe it when I saw parts of the book where he wasn't in love with Christine and Janelle. Before Robyn entered the picture is seeing that Mary and Kody had a very close relationship. Robyn has been very needy which demanded more up Cody's time while the rest were independent she was undermining them.

ON THE VERY FIRST SHOW, THE TWO went out to dinner to celebrate their anniversary. They argued the WHOLE TIME. IT HAS BEEN THAT WAY EVER SINCE. She also was constantly in a state of turmoil with Janelle and Christine. This was long before her "emotional affair" with a "man" who turned out to be a woman. Had "she" actually been a "man" there's no doubt in my mind that she would have had a full blown affair and left Cody. Meri has ALWAYS COME FIRST WITH Meri. Although they had planned a plural marriage there could never have been a WORSE CANDIDATE for living that lifestyle. She and Jenelle NEVER GOT ALONG! Yet Jenelle had been married to Meri's brother and Meri was responsible for bringing Jenelle into the family! That "Family" is the mixture of the most MESSED UP individual and intermingled relationships one could imagine. They should be the poster family for WHY PLURAL MARRIAGE IS AN ABSOLUTE DESASTER!
Love has nothing to do with it. It is their religious belief and I certainly don't agree with it. It is very cruel for the women UNLESS THEY DON'T LOVE HIM. THAT way they can raise the children and love them and expect nothing from the father except financial support and hopefully the father loves and interacts with the children.
Kody is having a midlife crisis. He’d happily trade the wife’s in for younger models. You can tell he’s no longer into them. They’ve served their purpose. I feel so sorry for them. Hasn’t he had it good being able to **** around with four woman for so many years and everyone be okay with that. I would not want those women’s lives at all.
I agree with you it became the typical middle-aged man going for a younger woman. It broke my heart on season 6 with Cody telling Mariah they can't take money from the family funds to help her go to the college she wants to go to and yet he's continuing to have more babies. Not only that some of that money could have went to dental care I've noticed some their teeth a really far apart and crooked. so let's let Robyn have a baby before I take care of the kids I already have. with all of my araya's achievements and getting that scholarship keep pissed me off the way he talked to her about I'm not going to take money from the family you'll have to come up with it yourself.

I think it tells alot that the other 3 wives openly say that if they want something from kody they go through robyn because she's the best at getting him to do something. It's sad that the other wives who have been with him the longest (Like 16 years longer) feel they won't be heard by him. Also I don't like how Robyn is putting her foot down about staying in flag staff despite christine been so eager to move back to Utah to be with her dying father and adult children

I think Janelle is actually the wife Kody loves, but she’s not conventionally attractive enough to him so he needs the others. Even in there book, his chapter on the beginning of their relationship is the only one where he really describes getting to know the woman first and enjoying her personality and conversation. They are also the most complimentary. She seems like the grounding he needs (unfortunately he has 3 others to gas him up).
I think he loves her the most as well. She doesn’t bring him any drama and she’s thinks the most like a man out of the wives. She’s more emotionally independent and mature. I like all the wives. It’s Kody’s treatment of Meri that I don’t like especially the way he tells her he’s not attracted to her anymore. I hope she’s keeping her coins to herself and not financially supporting the other wives.
That divorce was a master manipulation! Kody and Robyn wanted to be legally married, after all she was in a monogamous marriage before and that’s what she wanted. This new home of Robyn and Kody has two master bedrooms.. exactly what he wanted. Now he has somewhere to keep all his clothes!! I am pretty sure he has used the pandemic to stay with Robyn full time. He only ever stays overnight with either Christine or Janelle the rest of the time he is with Robyn!! I cannot understand how the other women don’t challenge him on that!

I can't be the ONLY one who recalls that Robyn has been the neck that moves the head (Kody's) since day one. Have we so soon forgotten how she so sweetly and innocently included her future sister wives to help pick out her wedding dress as a bonding experience; only for it to be discovered it was already a done deal. Robyn and Kody had already chosen the dress. Do you not remember her innocent eyelashes batting as she asked ever so earnestly if they thought Kody would like it? What a wonderful little piece of performance art. Here is the deal, as I see it: Kody was following his faith thought the idea sounded good but alas fell in love. Now his pride (no joy) has become an albatross. He can't simply get rid of them for he has created an army in his own image, and their mothers work to put him and his best bride in a castle worth over a million dollars. They also provide them with a nanny because?????? .....well there are two young children to be cared for and with neither parent working, well she is an essential worker even during covid. How "hysterical, jealous,, and over-sensitive, Christine managed to raise 12 kids without the benefit of a nanny is astounding. Kody's disinterest in assisting his and Janelle's son as well as his not going to Ysabel's surgery, not being willing to PAY for it, and not understanding how much pain she was in, revealed what kind of father Kody is to his children. By divorcing Meri and marrying Robyn he showed what kind of father he was willing to be for Robyn's children. Ladies take your money, based on your years and years of earnings or the work provided such as cooking and caring for the kids and home; divide it up 3 ways. Give Kody and Robyn the right to a new marriage and the lean years that often come with it. Kody himself said: " one has to be a saint to live this lifestyle". Truer words were never said, and even richer coming from a sinner.
You could tell his favorite was Robyn, Robyn always acted like she was just one of the other wives but she knew she wasnt she was playing along.When he divorced Mary for kids that were not his that right there told you him and Robyn had been working on a scenario that would make them husband and wife.

The family functioned well, until Robin and her kids joined. Then it started going off the rails, because Kody didn't want to be bothered with any of the other wives, and eventually the kids of the other wives also fell under that cloud. I think he'd like to see them all, once a year at a family reunion. Maybe get a few 'tweets' a month, so he can pass on the info and pretend he's involved in their lives.
Robyn had a plan and everyone saw it. First get Mari out of the real wife seat. Then start the take over! I do believe that if Janelle picks up on it Robyn will be gone. Janelle hold the purse strings.
This past weekend I started from season 1 to go back and see if I still thought the same way about Robyn. I didn't know I could like her any less. imagine being Christine and pregnant and your husband is dating another woman and then gets married and then gets her pregnant. As I said this weekend I've been binge-watching starting with season 1. I would like people who come on here after me because I'm curious to find out. Who's your favorite sister wife who do you like leaf not really. I go between Christine and Janelle. Christine some people may like but I see her as she's been struggling to have a close relationship with Cody for years.
I bet Meri regrets introducing Kody and Robyn and encouraging him to marry her. It destroyed her legal and "spiritual" marriage to Kody. Being pushed aside and ignored by Kody made Meri vulnerable to being catfished. He never forgave Meri. Meri needs Kody as much as a fish needs dancing shoes.
