It made me cry when you saw your brother. My sister lives in Germany and every time I see her if I am there or her here, look out cause all I want to do is hug her. I see her once a year or every other year.

I have a neighbor who just moved to America(El Paso,TX: talk about culture shock) from Italy. Her husband is in the Italian army and they sent him here to attend a school. She doesn't speak Englis, however her husband does and I speak spanish and since it's similar we communicate like that when her husband isnt around. I told her about you Laura and showed her this video and when she heard you all speaking italian she burst into tears. She said it's been too long since she's heard someone elae speak italian and this video made her feel like home and gave her comfort. So to you Laura and Joe, I say thank you! Thank you for sharing your lives with us and for allowing my friend ro feel like a little piece of home is here

It made me really sad to hear you say that you wouldn't see your brother for a year. I couldn't imagine it! It really makes you see how easy it can be to take little things like living within driving distance to family for granted. I love my baby brother more than life but only see him once a month because he's a little over an hour away. That doesn't seem so bad after seeing this. I truly hope you guys all have an amazing experience and make wonderful memories. Cherish this time with your brother, girl! You have such a beautiful family.

I so feel you, i am the happiest whenever my family comesto visit me, although it is tiring to do the translation back and forth to them and to our partner, it is very precious to have them and to be with even in just a short period of time.
