You two are the real deal. Two proper metal detectorists, prepared to hunt in conditions that the majority of so-called 'serious detectorists' refuse point blank to go forth in, and get lagged in mud and soaked. Bloody good on you both. You shame those posers and cruisers with 'all the gear and little idea', least of all real commitment. For me, as an old countryman, I liken it to 'Dog-men' and 'Dog-women', as opposed to 'Dog owners': A void apart. I avoid the latter at all cost. Bravo girls. You two make the cut!
You had a very productive day this day! A lot of pieces of Roman pottery lovely 😊 those little coins were amazing finds. I do enjoy your narration of all of your pieces. Have a wonderful week. Keep on detecting Roman ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Love the new logo! Can you imagine today, going down to the store and watching the merchant cut your change? What was the norm hundreds of years ago just seems surreal today. :-)
What a good day for pottery, loved the button and the snail all on his lonesome, thanks for all the historical facts, they are very interesting, look forward to next video
You are lucky with a freshly ploughed field. The fields on my permission don't get ploughed at all these days. And don't get me started on the green waste!
Another great video. 🙂. A few people in my detecting club use knee pads when digging but I find them awkward especially during summer because I detect in shorts so instead I purchased a garden kneeling pad off Ebay it is oval shape and made from thick strong sponge 😀with a handle hole in the end. I hang it on a hook on my belt / coat it save my knees plus I don't get muddy knees because I always kneel on the clean side. 🙂. HH.
The very first thing I thought of was a stone carvers tool on the item that looks like a chisel. But it would really depend on whether it was threaded upon clean-up. I would love to see a short clip at the end of your videos of the cleaned items, as well as, a short update of the items that could not be identified in the field. I guess I'm just a very curious person when it comes to your artifacts. 😀 Thank you for posting the most interesting videos.
