Me too. I was looking for the floating Island when I got that message. Suddenly my Seamoth and me were flying into the sky. I turned around, saw the Ghost Leviathan and noped the hell out of their. Thank god it gives up on hunting you once you are back over the border.

@@Kylehappy305 look at the compass at the top and a little above and to the left you can see the reaper. Might have to adjust your brightness a little to see it though
I dont know how but i ended up in the mountains for cyclops engine fragments, i scanned them and just turned around with my seamoht and behind me was a reaper. Never went near there on my life

@@Taetaer That's crazy! I had one bump into my Seamoth when i forgot to pause, it was actually the first time and i spent about a minute while on the pause menu trying to figure out what to do.

On my second play through I got that pop up and then I look in every direction while in my seamoth then I look up and next thing I know there is shit in my pants
Dunes are meh, Everyone always complains about the eight Reapers there. Here's a fun fact: The Crash Zone houses two Reapers... Near surface level. There is a combined total of *ten* total Reapers in the Crash Zone (and Crash Zone Mesas) biome.
@@leoxesyude2021 i think people are scared bc the dunes are a lot smaller, and a lot of the reapers in the crash zones you arent gonna encounter. You could encounter all of the ones in the dunes though. Ive also never been attack by a reaper just going to explore the wreck, only when going near the engine to try and navigate to a life pod.

I just want to share one thing, I was exploring the mushroom biome, near the mountains, looking for diamonds and litium, when this message came up, I literally saw a reaper Coming from the depths of the biome to the mushrooms, I turned into underwater han-solo and I went back to my base,and I just came back with a cyclops. Forget the memes, it scared the hell out of me
This happened to me yesterday and I almost had a heart attack, but then I looked up and it was just a bunch of reefback leviathans chillin'. Alright then.
This happened to me, my dumbass didn't know what that meant at the time so I kept scanning things and I still haven't encountered a leviathan the entire time I've played this game I haven't even seen one yet I'm disappointed but glad
I encountered a fucking reaper on my way to that mountain wreck when the reaper leviathan came up without roaring might I add from above and catches my seamoth I had to convince myself to go back to the save and now I don’t want to head to the mountains anymore but I have to in order to get that final cyclops fragments,ent
Personally, it's not even the fact that the reapers themselves are scary. What's scary is that if they latch onto you there's a high chance it'll destroy hours or even days of progress. I learned a trick with the ghost leviathans that if you stay still, atleast in the prawn suit, they won't bother you, and the sea dragons are so large you can just grapple onto them and fire away with the drill arm, but there are so many reapers in one place that even if you did manage to grapple onto one and start drilling at it, another one might come along and then attack you and now you have two very hungry and one pissed off reaper on your hands with a prawnsuit being held together by hopes and dreams.
Yeah, it was a more of a blue/purple mix tho (although the game only had about 256 colours because I forgot to turn off dithering.) When it got corrupted I got a previous one and I just made it blue and yellow because I forgot the exact tone.
