What could be better, while waiting for the new season of "Outlander" to begin, than watching our modern day Claire, Jamie and Murtagh, finding adventure in Scotland!! This collaboration with Si is fantastic!
I've now watched all of your Dirty Secrets of Scotland and Living the Skye Life videos and made comments here and there. Next is Sarah's, She Walks She Paints channel. You two are very hard working and excellent presenters and so relaxed in front of the camera. Love your stories, music, art, history, and well everything.
Wiping your 'found' objects can wipe off any markings, especially with mud/grit on them. I would leave the discovering until you get home and soak them all in warm water so that any markings can be coaxed out.😊Even then clean them off with very soft brushes. You could also carry a small plastic squeegee bottle of water to wash some mud off your finds.
You guys were like peas n' carrots- just perfect together! So glad you had the chance to go out and play before the craziness of moving house. Sarah knocked it out of the park! Cheers from snowy Maine!
I love ALL your videos. You're fun to watch. I love the humor, Sarah is great! I really love Jack too. I have 2 questions though, well maybe suggestions of what I'd be curious to see. How on earth to you transport all your finds to your car? Do a fast fwd of you packing so we can see. I can't imagine you can do this all in one trip. Also what do you do with the things you find and don't want to take with you? I'm living vicariously through your videos. Keep up the good work!
Love your video, you tube recommendation as well so am subscribing now, also love that your visitor actually shares her video with yours a true collaboration
Sarah's painting masterclass, Si's detecting masterclass and Willie's erm... litter picking masterclass? I loved that video and the fact Sarah just dismissed an 18th century coin without realising 😂 I'd keep that big chain tbh, but probably not the best find to move house with 😬
That was an absolutely fabulous video! Thank you all. The painting was an added delighted. May your life on Skye bring you everything that you could possibly wish for!! Blessings!
First time to this channel. I enjoyed it so much that I am going to subscribe to all three of your channels! I found about this from Living the Skye Life channel. Thank you!
Lovely finds and lots of fun 😀, enjoy guys . It's awesome to watch live painting 🖼. Thank you Simon and Dirty Scotland team . With love from SAM Guwahati, Assam, India 🇮🇳 ♥️
The things you are calling 'bells' I believe are for snuffing out candle flames and originally would have had a longish handle( circa 10") allowing a slave to lower the 'bell' onto the flame without burning the person.
What fun! Always great detecting different places, and with our Mud Lover Si!!! He is the coin finder monster, like Nicola is the pipe finder monster…..😃😃💗
Nice day out with some of my favorite people! Sara is an amazing watercolorist! Brilliant painting and great to watch the process! (I'm picking up tips)😍
Great to see SI Finds with use ☺️ . Ur drawings of the bottles r so amazing. U have beautiful talent Love the art work ☺️👍 . Bless use all n ur Family's n Friends n animals n Loved One's .... 😇
Could the object around 17:30 be part of a harness or something for livestock? I have a feeling Jack Spaniels was a little jealous when you got back. I had a lot of fun joining you three on this adventure, you are a great group! I am also glad to see I'm not the only one who forgets things.🤣😂 Cheers all!
Aaw brilliant, nice to see Si north of the border, a great addition to an already great channel. Smashing painting once again Sarah. The bottle fair jumped off the page, Thank you for a great treasure hunt....... Alioban
Really enjoyed seeing you & Sarah together with Si. You are a couple of my fav channels & you all have such fun personalities. Looking forward to next time as well. Sarah loved seeing your talent. You brought those bottles to life through the paintings. Beautiful!
I loved the collaboration with Si-Finds. I bet you guys had a blast together as you are both so funny! I hope you see more of you together. Sarah really knocked it out of the park with that poison bottle! I felt like I could just reach out and touch the knobbly bits on the bottle. I hope she paints more interesting bottles as those of us that will never make it over the pond will never see things like that inn person. She captures them so well! Of course I adore watching Jack Spanials run circles around you guys. Keep up the good work!
Hi Ive just subbed to you. You know what they say you can take the lassie out of scotland but you cant take Scotland out of the lassie. Im originally from Hamilton, and I always find the scotish sites come up without me asking lol Wow those bottles you have painted look ready just to be lifted out of the page, fantastic. Oh and hi Si, I didnt think I would find you this far north, Ill be off to your channel in a min. Hugs xx Ann xx
What you thought 'could be part of a leaf spring from a cart' could be part of a very large hinge with elongated straps used to swing equally large and therefore heavy doors for a Barn hence they are often referred to as 'barn door' hinges. Or it could possibly have supported a door or doors large enough to admit wheeled vehicles to the walled garden.
So first it was "living the Skye life" that caught my eye - then dirty secrets - then she walks she paints - and of course Jack Spaniels too. And because my daughter and I love plants and trees and birds, etc. and because we collect beach glass and broken bits of crockery, we are now hooked and occasionally we have found ourselves standing close in to our television screen watching Willie digging bottles and we are completely absorbed. We have a collection of broken bits but we enjoy just being in and one with nature.
Glad to hear you have places to metal detect on Skye. Looks like Si had fun with you and Sarah and I enjoyed watching. Thanks Willie! Beautiful painting Sarah!
I love the painting of the bottle. I purchased one just like. I love my bottles, I have a total of three that I purchased from you guys. I treasure them. 🐕🥰🇺🇸
Very cool video you guys, first timer here, loved the intro, little pixies dancing frantically amongst the trees...hahahaha! I LUV the fact that you edit IN the cleaned finds after you find them, it helps keep the interest of the viewer (imo) Simon, have a pint of Guiness for me mate!! ...and 'moo poo'...hilarious!
