LATE local wild camp on Winter Hill 

Finally plucked up the courage to go and wild/stealth camp up Winter Hill just up from Rivington Pike on the moorland
Apart from a really late pitch, some unplanned detours and a few technical difficulties the day after I had a really good one, I enjoyed it regardless and thats all that matters.

Winter Hill if you didnt know is just up on the West Pennine Moors and houses the Winter Hill antenna (effectively it gives you your television) It is also next door to Rivington Pike, Two Lads Cairns and many other spectacular surroundings and trails that I highly recommend.
