I worked in a distribution center for a grocery chain, i remember having to unload trucks side by side and barely had room to move our forklifts or our electric pallet jacks. Was something else to see but could be a pain when 15 trucks are getting unload side by side by side at the exact same time.

Who ever left the platform not load into the trailer may cause many accidents of the forklift wheel actually falling into that gap. There should be a little part which is not on the level there, but, allows you to drive a full path into the truck. Any holes, even 2 inches or 1 inch can get a heavy load stuck in there, easily. It would jump the forks by that length, even at slow speed. Anything longer, like 1 feet is a sure problem to solve, which is more complicated.

Additionally, the platform is not as wide as the trailer is. The trailer is wider. Furthermore, the way to load the pallets in the back snug fit is to slide them at a angle on the side walls, not on the back wall. Many back wall are damage from driving the wrong way into that back wall. The side walls have nice metal pieces on which the pallets slide easily to snug them fit tight.

/3 ... As for the longer pallet, you can drag them on the floor, and, find some ways to level them up without damaging the load balance too much. If the balance is off, so is the job. You need either longer forks, or, better tool(s) for it.

/4 ... Seal is right, however, many drivers don't load the truck, so, those seals are placed by other entities than that driver bringing it to destination. Plus, if the driver goes to the utilities at the Truck Stop or McDing, the load is safely secured until not sealed anymore from breaking it opened.

The problem with faster traffic is science. The faster the traffic moves the harder it hits you. Increasing traffic speed is simple recoving from being shot halfway across map is another story.lol

I believe you will find the " sink hole" is caused by a missing mod. There is a Silage factory that normally loads into that spot.

if you really want to be the super realistic thing ... when you load you trailer if the load those not let you put them side by side you need to stagger the load .... so basically one to the left and one to the right for the entire load ! the reason is that it keep the center of gravity equal nothing to do if it shift or not !

@TheFormalPickle My dad did load 18-wheelers like that but it was with big rolls of paper. But Titian the company knew the trailer was damaged and the sent it on the road anyway. He was backing out of the trailer with the 2 big rolls of paper and the left side of the trailer gave out. Lucky the top of the fork-lift caught the bottom of the side of the trailer if not he would have probably died and he worked a hour from the house and drove to the hospital and back home the same day. He has had 2 back surgery’s a neck surgery and couple other things. So it can be really dangerous.
