The commercial release of this track is a lot more noisy and epic than the one in-game. It is not unusual for public releases to be edited to have more commercial appeal or to sound more natural. The latter happens often with scores for games that have dynamic music
@@lolwot7004 Directors often use temp tracks to show the composer what type of music they want in a scene. David Cage showed the composer the Hans Zimmer track and was like "Copy this". It's 99% likely that's what happened
Khai Smith I think that sound is actually the custom string instrument the composer invented for Connor's music. It's really interesting to look at his musical process.
Effie Trinket yeah your right. Connor is the interesting character out of the 3. Whether you choose to be a deviant ( which defeats the whole purpose of Connor’s existence in the first place) or remain an obedient emotionless machine is up to you completely. I’ve went back so many times seeing different endings where Connor leads the rebellion when Markus dies and when he kills himself for betraying cyberlife. He is just so interesting. Maybe Detroit become human will have a sequel because I’m still not statisfied. We don’t really get to see what happens to the 3 in their endings.
God I love how the violin feels like it's from a horror track. It just makes the image of Connor (from the rogue deviants' perspectives) feel like a monster we can't escape from. Almost reminds me of the way the Batman scares people tbh.
@@freddman0135there's a bit in the Connor Vs Hank fight where part of Connors face is shadowed as he approaches Hank on the ground. He looks exactly like the T1000 in that bit. Edit: it's right after the QTE where you throw Hank against the vent, and right before Hank rips the grate off to toss at you
Given how much Bryan Dechart and Clancy Brown bounced off and adapted to each other, it doesn't surprise me. Although I feel like either Clancy warned him secretly beforehand or they did another take because of how Connor just sort of snaps back from the slap suggests that Bryan knew it was coming in some way, or he is just really good at adapting to the situation and went along with it.
When I watched the game, I saw the chase scene and this soundtrack is one of the things that made me attracted to this game because of its epicness. :D
"You're starting to piss me off with that coin connor" _You are beginning to agitate my emotional state with that round, thin, metallic piece of currency._
Spoilers a little, but if you found this song you had to search to get to it.. I absolutely love the part in the chase when Connor jumps onto the train and the camera revolves around his face while he thinks of what to do next. Absolutely fantastic!
This is a great example of music enhancing gameplay. The chase scene was amazing on it's own, but the music makes it so much more thrilling. You've got so much adrenaline running through you because of the overwhelming sounds and visuals, and it's so fuckin' fun. You don't even have to play it yourself to get the rush.
1:09 However they where able to get that synth violin solo in there baffles me. It's incredible! And feels like an instrument that would exist over 15 years from now!
Sir Z oh... I didn't know. Have you seen the ending where you leave him? *SPOILER INBOUND* Connor catches the deviant and Lieutenant Hank survives and catches up to Connor and the deviant. Hank hits Connor and their relationship goes down. Then the deviant breaks out and jumps off of the roof and dies.
The reason they didn't save is because he had a 89% chance of surviving and honestly that tempted me to leave him hanging but I know he would've been a dick about if I left him
Your walking in the park on a peaceful sunny day. Then suddenly you feel a presance near you. You look to one side and lock eyes with your old enemy from high school. You both have a rush of memorys as you realize what you mean to each other. Suddenly he take off running . You feel it in your bones to chase him. Let the games begin
I have never said this but thank you for uploading this song, I used this in a chase scene in my movie (for a highschool proyect). As I already said, thank u
