I love the fact that every city has its own dance, similar but different cadence. I’ve never seen the JIT style until now, however I can tell that Jit hasn’t evolved much since the day it was created based on the music and basic lateral movements
Sorry bro you’re absolute wrong. Juking Chicago footwork looks strange all over the place. You guys got only one dance move, kicking non stop at the air. How’s that better than Jitting when Jitting has over 100 of steps and actually dance moves that you can choreography on beat. Ya dance moves looks unorganized and all over the place anybody can JUKE and say it’s dancing. Chicago juke footwork is terrible looking. Trust me most people will tell you Jitting is better because we made the dance first ya just try to copy us, but that’s what you came up with which was a water down fake version of the Jit. That’s why it looks terrible and doesn’t look like dancing.

Jit was created in the 70s our parents aunties & uncles was going full speed ahead wit the Jit movement but it was more Jazz Funk & James Brown even early Hip-Hop music so it was definitely different 50 years ago
I have Detroit jit all the way it looks so much sexier and smooth and sweet you look at it an say damn I want to learn how to do that Chicago footwork wild and sporadic and all over the place and hard to keep up with like what was that.and I like the jitting routines better
