It is rarely mentioned during broadcasts of games, but, personally, I'm amazed that 11 guys on offense can all perfectly carry out their coached assignements on a play. Any player that comes into a meeting with coaches so prepared to discuss the details iin the playbook must seem like a godsent to coaches who eventually must rip our their own hair when a guy ruins a play by turning in the wrong direction or lining up in the wrong spot. We see plays fail and end up going for zero gain or even negative yardage, but it is not often we learn why. We hear all the time about "well-coached" teams, but, once again, getting the guys to properly run the play that is called is never mentioned as the hallmark of a well-coached team.

There's SO much upside with Vaki, not only with his elusiveness, explosiveness, and great play making but he's going to PUSH jahmyr. Here’s why this is a mindless assertion. Teams had 130 chances to select him. And they didn’t. I can even better that. Teams, many, begin taking projects as early as round 2. So teams had just about 100 chances to take him. And even if you don’t like that. Hendon Hooker is a project backup and was taken 63 picks earlier the previous year. So we know teams start taking projects and special teamers pretty high And by where the lions took a known project last year, teams had 63 chances to pick this project, if they “all wanted him” I have comfortably disproven the notion “everybody wanted him”. In fact, nobody wanted to spend more than a compensatory 4th on him. I just wish the approach would be “if SV ends up a replacement for the special team all pro they let walk-Killebrew-they can at least stop some of the bleeding there.

He’s future replacement for David Montgomery after his contract done. Will be factor this year too on smaller scale
