Detroit Lions Have Glaring Problem That Needs To Be Fixed. When searching for weaknesses in this Detroit Lions team you almost need to get picky, but there is one problem that we had for the majority of the season that came back to bite us in the worst time possible last year.

I would not only apply this logic to the offense, but also the defense. Seems that the defense would cause turnovers in the 1st half, and then lose momentum in the 2nd half while the opponents were down by 10 and simply "big played" their way back into it.🤔 I'm guessing with the added depth and better overall secondary changes, the Lions will be less suspectable to the big play and hopefully will maintain leads more effectively.

Lol 😂 I remember when we couldn’t score in any quarter. Watching the Lions since the 60s until now. We are blessed. But we do need to fix it. If the defense can’t stop the teams then we need to score a bunch of points. Hopefully we can be successful in the D and the Offense.

I had a 49ers fan tell me that he thought Detroit did a lot more for the team than what the 9ers have done this year. We will see

I agree. A better defense will improve 3rd quarter production.

And they went right back to sucking in third quarters against the 9'rs. Twenty seven unanswered points. They're too 'scheme' addicted - need to run more sandlot plays. Goff should be able to draw up plays on a napkin when they're not moving the ball.

You know Stafford used to tell C.J. to run along a sideline and he'll toss it up high for him to bring down - and that worked but it was dangerous to C.J. - but he did win games like that. The Lions today lack that - they're set with getting guys open through scheming plays up and when those aren't working for whatever reason they don't have that type of receiver on the team. St. Brown is a slot guy, LaPorta is inside too. That leaves Jamo who isn't that type of receiver to be running sandlot plays.

Well they didn’t get shut down. They had many plays that worked the players just didn’t execute. I get what you’re saying but there were multiple plays that were just poorly executed.

It’s an emotional let down. You can see how flat they appear in the third. Greatest example was the championship game.

Half time adjustments. This is something that needs to be fixed. You need to come out after the 1st half with a different strategy. Offense and defense. The opposing team is coming out with adjustments from your play in the first half.

Jared Goff is the weakness in the 3rd quarter,defenses adjust to Goff while in the locker,the 49ers realized they had to make Goff pass the football ,we bludgened them for over 200 yards in the first half while Goff did NOTHING ZERO TDs in the 1st half of a Championship game he threw 1 the entire game on a 4th down play in the 4th quarter everybody blamed drops but Goff overall play was mediocre ,SF corralled Monty & Gibbs in the 3rd and 4th quarter and forced a lower tier QB to win who they knew couldn't he was beaten by SF 7 GAMES IN A RO 5 BY LA AND 2 IN A ROW VS DETROIT BUT ITS TOO LATE NOW ALL THIS IS MEANINGLESS WE MADE GOFF OUR FRANCHISE QB SO LIVE WITH THE FUTURE RESUTS OF NEVER GOING TO A SUPERBOWL IN THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE I CHEER AND ROOT FOR MY HOMETOWN CHICAGO BEARS WHO W SAID ON NBC CHICAGO THEY HAVE GOFF BLUEPRINT ALEX BROWN AND DAVE WANSTATE BACKED IT UP GOFF WAS HORRIBLE JUST WONDER IF OTHER TEAMS REALIZE TO CLOG THE MIDDLE AND HIGH ROBBER AMRSB GOFF IS LOST WITH NO PLAY ACTION PASS
