I saw that episode Steve and you never said he was Aaron Donald. Yes Wingo was supposed to go in the 90s in the draft.

In all the years of watching, This Lions team may be the most complete roster they've ever had. ( above average at every position) They might have the most complete and deep roster in the league.

I want to add that Wingo can also play Edge very well because of his speed. After the training camps are over, he may be a starter because of his versatility and superb talent!!

Wingo will make the roster. I don’t think fans understand this yet, but DT is literally the one position you can rotate in and out and need 4-5-6 guys opposed to a single Suh or Donald type. I could legit see the lions keeping Alim, Reader, Levi, Cominsky, Wingo AND Martin. This is what a rotation looks like when you don’t waste high picks on a position that needs rotation as the game grinds on. And this is why I urge fans to read the depth chart. A guy like Cominsky can stick as the inside out guy. He is the 2nd RDE behind Davenport. He will absolutely give flexibility and allow the lions to keep BOTH a DT/DE on the roster. This is also why the suck fest on Betts somehow winning even the 2 RDE job is comical. He offers no value at DT. Paschal and Cominsky do. Right now the dude is the 3rd LDE behind Hutchinson . He literally adds nothing Hutchinson doesn’t. And as much as I dog the guy, if you lose him, you’re not replacing him (in the games he shows up). I wish fans didn’t see positions as absolute. Every rotation thrives on versatility. The easiest cuts are the guys who do one thing, like Betts, when they aren’t able to give you games like Hutchinson.

On Brad Holmes I trust. With that said Holmes took levi in the 2nd. Martin in the 3rd, and Winggo in the 6th. Not only was Levi drafted earlier he was kept after the bad injury. To e that says only one thing Brad Holmes believes in Levi. Don't see the lions not giving Levi a shot after his first full health off season

The DT/DE spot is interesting as is the CB & WR spots. Moseley & someone else will start on IR, so if you max out those spots, your roster is actually about 55 players. I think either Cominsky or Levi is out, along with Vildor @ CB & any WR not named Greene @ the 5th WR are vulnerable! 🎙🎬❤️💯👍🏾👍🏾 And too am with U on Wingo. He is some ARSB-type draft BH villainish thievery!!☠️ 👀🤣🤣🤣

Wingo and Martin do not play the same position. Martin is going to be more of a 0. Wingo will more than likely play more 3 tech as a DT.
