Considering how many times the Packers beat the Lions for the Division and Playoff spot over the years, this win to knock Packers out of playoff hunt must've been absolutely incredible for Detroit and the fans

Lions just straight up went in like: “we ain’t goin to the playoffs but we sure as hell takin u with us” mad respect boys, lookin forward to seein u guys next season!

When ever I feel depressed I watch this and than I’m all happy again.

I say this as a Lions fan. It's disappointing that they didn't actually get in, but I am so incredibly proud of how they turned it around instead of just writing off the rest of the season after going down 1-6. They gave Lions fans a reason to cheer, and reason for optimism this year, and that's more than I can say about how they've been for most of my lifetime. And they managed to end the Packers season while at it. Next season should be a lot of fun if this was any indication. Go Lions!!!

A shame that the Lions fell just short of the playoffs, but the fact they managed to finish with their first winning season since 2017, despite the 1-6 start this year, is a sign of good things to come in the future.

Congratulations Lions !!! My Dad passed away some years ago …. Dad was a big Lions fan…. He would have loved this season watching the Lions …. Go Lions !

@8:30 I liked that brief moment where they show Goff's reaction after Rogers threw that TD pass. He's starts nodding his head yes, like "alright game on." He didn't put his head down or look worried or upset . He looked like he was excited to get back out on the field and help his team retake the lead. He's improved so much this year. That Stafford trade worked out great for the Lions and for Goff too. I think quite a few QB's in this league would love to swap offenses with him. Great O-Line. Talent all over the place. Receivers are a multi threat. Running game is strong. Not to mention the Defense has been getting better with guys like Houston, Hutchinson, Kerby Joseph. Can't wait to see what they do next season.

I dont care how many times i watch this. I will never and i mean NEVER get tired of watching My Lions knock the Packers out of the playoffs here. And watching Rodgers heading back to the locker room looking like a little kid that was just told he couldnt play anymore today. Lol just freaking love it.

Eventhough the Lions didn't make it into the playoff, as a fan, this has been one of the most special and exciting seasons I can ever recall watching.

Im a lions fan living in wisconsin, and my entire family is packer fans. Let me tell you how great this felt when we won. My family was pissed off while i was celebrating 😂. I enjoyed every second of this. So proud of this team, ONE PRIDE!

As a Dolphins fan, I am so happy for Dan Campbell. He was the interim coach for the Dolphis in 2015 and he got those guys to play for him. I thought he deserved a shot back then, but here he is with a young hungry team, and he doesn't coach scared. He coaches to win! Can't wait for next year.

I've said it once, twice and maybe like 4 times now, where Detroit is not my team I have to say they are one of the teams I love watching and pulling for in the NFL. These dudes let it all hang out each and every game and you're never going to get cheated out of effort, excitement and sheer emotional damage.. lol -- Love the culture this coach has instilled in this team and it's absolutely fantastic watching this group play and win games.

Way to go Detroit, going into Lambeau and knocking the Packers out of the playoffs is huge. To start 1 and 6 but finish 9 and 8, and 5 and 1 in their division, with some tough, tough losses is amazing. Deserved to be in the playoffs and would of been a serious threat to whomever they played, way more so then Seattle. I am highly impressed with the Lions this year and will be rooting for them next season. Damn they came so close but fell just short, heartbreaking.

It was truly a disappointment to miss out on the playoffs due to a loss to the Seahawks on day four, in an incredible game ended 48-45. From that moment the Lions have been incredible. As a life time Lions fan, last night was the most excitement I have felt in a long time. Sunday Night Football, having a team that you can bet on to win (I did), then actually hanging tough and grinding out a win, against a team that was owned us for years, to kick them from the playoffs! Sad the season is over, but plenty of satisfaction from last night to carryover to next year.

That play by McNeil to make sure Tunyan didnt get near that ball during that fumble is one of the best plays of the game to me and more people need to talk about it. That is an extremely high IQ play by him.

Even though the Lions missed the playoffs, they still looked so happy about their win, and they look very optismistic. I hope next year will lead them on a playoff run and they have a very bright future! But most importantly, they eliminated our rotten foes out the the playoffs! Coming from a Vikings fan

The Lions were my first favorite team as a kid, as I lived in Michigan. I’ve since adopted the Patriots as my favorite team, yet the Lions still have my love. I'm not a Lions fan, but after watching their 2022 Hard Knocks and also being conscious of the fact that they've been a terrible organization for basically my entire young life, it's really satisfying to see them come this far. Dan Campbell has so much heart and you know he wants to win and he's probably got the toughest HC job in the NFL as the Lions' head coach. God bless them, they should hold their heads high after this.

The fact that Rodgers last play of his career possibly was a throw for an interception resulting in a loss to the Lions, and being knocked out of the playoffs was the icing on the cake.

Is the reason Detroit took Sewell at 7, he has the ability to get his hands in a guy and has the speed to break out to still get in front and pancake a defender to help swift pick up the long gain. Plays like those isn’t possible when you don’t have elite OTs like Sewell. He celebrates at the end because he knows what he just did to help make a huge play

I'm bummed that the Lions couldn't make it into the playoffs but I'm glad they played spoiler to Rodgers and his "i told you so" tour he would have went on. GG by them. Cambell deserves a bunch of credit for inspiring his team this season. Geoff has been great this last half of the season and the offense has some great weapons and are fun to watch. If they work on the defense this off season they might have a good chance to make it in next year.
