LTD does not stand for limited, it stands for Luxury Trim Decor, it made it's debut in 1965 as a trim level on the Galaxy

They did a really nice job on that car if you just tuck in the bumpers a little bit you would have a really cool car and if you did just some modern upgrades to the engine like fuel injection to make it a nice driver, I would love to take the keys.

That thing is a boat. I had a late 70's LTD, one of my first cars. It was always a smooth ride, no matter how fast or how many different directions you wanna take, just a solid vehicle!

I had a beautiful metallic brown with a tan vinyl top 1975. My first car and was a great fun car at 16 years old

Thanks for doing this video, it really brought back some memories! My first car was a 1975 LTD 2 door. It was the exact body style as in the video.

When my Uncle got of the Army in 78 he bought 78 Country Squire Wagon and he and his wife moved from Central Missouri to Southern California when he got a job at Z-Mag, the 8 track/cassette tape company and drove the new car out there and slept in the back on the way out, they both say that was the best worst trip they ever took together.
