Yes! Pre-baking is the only way to go unless you're making a very thin crust. I also started adding bay (laurel) leaves to my homemade sauce this year after decades of not. It makes such a difference! (I wonder what kind of sausage "American" is. I live here and all I know is "breakfast," "Italian," "Polish" and "Andouille." ; )

Sauce needs basil and a splash of wine. Dough looked 👌 👏.. Yet I believe the pizza should be cooked all together at once instead of piece meal so everything gets to meld together. Also only milk mozzarella no yellow/white Colby cheese..
