I really like sensitive FT ……It’s my go to Dirt hunt program ……. really got to use headphones for it to come to life…….gives lots of hunt site instant audio information …..Thanks for sharing
I love full tones, it’s my go to program 95 percent of the time. I never thought of raising Reactivity up past 3. I will try this. Something I tried was running Deep HC full tones, Rec 3 . Looking for shallower silver mixed with junk. Pulled two silver Rosie dimes that day, only 3 inches deep.,
I'm going to a spot this afternoon of an old mill site that's been gone since the 40's, it's brutally full of iron and I'll give this a try, I've only hit this with the Legend and I've pulled a few good things out but time to let the D2 have a whirl at it.
Enjoy your videos, have had the D2 for about a year now. question for you about the pinpointer. what sensitivity do you use yours at? Ive left mine at factory setting which I think is medium. Curious to what you or others are using it at. thanks Brian
If you are referring to the pairing and adjusting the sensitivity through the menu, I have not messed too much from the defaults. I typically don't have mine paired anyway.
@@MentalMetal mine isn't paired either, there is a way to adjust the sensitivity on the pin pointer. Default is medium, which is where I left mine. I'm just not sure if it's better or if most are changing it to the highest sensitivity. Thanks for replying!
@@MentalMetal TnSharpshooter is running a Beta of the new D2 software and says fulltone separation in iron is improved a lot. Perhaps you can rerun this test after we get the update and learn it, that would be interesting.
All the snap, crackle and pops, Could that be modern trash and iron? Why doesn't the detector lock on to those signals (Iron/Modern trash) You have to wait on a spike (Two way signal) repeatable signal.
@@MentalMetal On my mineralised soil in the uk the tones are muffled it’s ok on the numbers but the tones are dreadful struggles terribly on small Roman bronze coins any low conductive silver like Celtic silver units or Saxon sceats but it’s ok on high conducive coins
