I'm in NYC and sometimes when I'm walking home at night in the dark I listen to this with only one headphone in, I keep the other ear open so I can sense if there's any trouble going on lol

Just amazing. As I bought this game i was 12 years old, 16 years ago. I dont know anything about it, just buying. One of the best choices in my life. It shaped me so much, its unbelievable. And now, summer 2019, listening the music and remixes, since years and thinking about the great time. A masterpiece!

I want to cry every time I listen this music. It takes deep into consciousness and describes this world of Deus Ex even better than picture on the screen...
This is one the main reasons why I was able to roam through the New York level gathering info, looking around and reading data cubes without any sight of being bored or whatsoever. The other reasons are great level design and art and great in-game lore.

I'm rediscovering the first Deus Ex, and God the ambient and atmosphere, for an adept of Deep House as myself it's heaven, late Deus Ex are good, but there is something about the ambient of the oldest games : UT99, Tiberian Sun, Deus Ex, the musics are so futuristics, deep, melody is there, not to exacerbate pathos emotions but to get focus, travel deep, stunning into a genuine content, it's like comparing Interstellar with 2001, Interstellar though a very good movie can't a bit be compared with 2001, old fashion was on deep diving the experience by some deep content, modern feminization coupeld with standardization of big corpz and CallOfDutization goes only with exacerbating peripheral emotions, Matrix Reloaded crap action movies style cliche, power of love and all that moralistic post-protestant american BS, first Deus Ex is chill by the way to give reflexion, authentic content, a disturbing angle of view on the contemporary world, something metaphysical about this game I can't explain, this theme is amazing !

If only the prod had more readily available ammo. On liberty island I pulled the prod out and clicked like 4 times in the air to see the animation not knowing that it had ammo Needless to say I didn't get to use the prod for like 4 more hours
@@KajuTheRudeMonke Yeah, I mentioned that I used all the ammo within seconds at the very beginning of the very first mission during my blind playthrough where I had no idea a melee weapon had 5 uses even when being used in mid-air, not on enemies
Maybe modern games have perfect gameplay and graphisme and indeed I think the video game sector is the only one who has been preserved by the cultural curse and degeneracy that have destroyed Cinema and Music these last two decades, and we can say in several angles that video games had stunningly evolved especially these last 15 years, but music and movies and cultural content generally was a past perfection, it's not even possibe to compare 90 and 80s musics and movies with the whole crap we dive in for the last 2 decades !
