Dude... this episode RUINED me and played with my emotions. I was ugly crying and screaming until the end of the episode. That was the most dark and bleakest episode I've seen so far. This.. hurt way more than the Red Wedding ever did and I'm not even joking!!! But at the same time, I loved the fact that they even went that far!

I can't with this episode!!! I just finished watching it! I haven't cried so much after watching Gambit die!!!!! Its almost as bad as when Optimus Prime died. Writer's perspective was awesome he made us look on a point of view of the oppressed and in current chaos. It was like it was us under attacked. But maaaaaaan! This breaks something inside. I watched Xmen since I was 5 - 6 years old and now I'm a Dad. The first 1-4 episodes made me feel like a kid again then got slapped backed to reality with this episode. Gambit and Nightcrawler will always be my favorite

This storyline is called E Is for Extinction and its a great jumping in point to read X-Men if you haven’t checked any out.

They took inspiration from the Genosha And Krakoa Gala massacre from the comics.
