Thanks for joining me on my adventure of writing music for Halve - a solo co-op puzzle platformer! In this video, I share how we came to our early written music concepts, and share how we developed the sound for the first chapter of the game!

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for watching! :D. What do you think of the music so far? Also, I had some audio issues in this one because my old setup got broken. I will fix it for the next one!

Great stuff, I love the style and atmosphere of the game! I'm very curious about the libraries you use and how you create the textures. Perhaps a devlog about that in the future?

Thanks, Bram, I'll think about that! For now, I can already say a lot of the sounds come from Metropolis Ark II (Low flutes, Harmonic Glisses, harp textures) Cinematic Studio (Solo) Strings, and Una Corda (piano).

Hi Tom, that was interesting! can you give us any insight about how to learn Wwise as a composer?
@tomponist
@tomponist 4 месяца назад
Thank you! I’ll dive deeper into Wwise in a future episode, but in the meantime: 1. Check out the courses on their website. They are free and a GREAT resource! (Aso the test projects that come with them) 2. Check out Cujo sound on YT, who has a series on setting up Wwise at the start of a project (that we followed to the letter on this one)
