Most armwrestlers associate pronation training with toproll. But pronation is also very important in a hook. Here is what Daniel Procopciuc uses to build his pronation and avoid getting in a defensive hook.
Part 2: • Developing a world cla... (Hook Back Pressure)
Part 3: • Developing a world cla... (Supination)
Part 4: • Developing a world cla... (Cupping)
Part 5: • Developing a world cla... (Hand Control)
Part 6: • Developing a world cla... (Training at the Table)
Part 7: • Developing a world cla... (Down Pressure)

This is very informative and helpful. People dont really talk much about pronation in hook. Thank you very much.

I completely agree, strong pronation helps a lot in pretty much all moves, except for a flop wrist press.
@ethanjohnston5014
@ethanjohnston5014 2 года назад
It helps for a flop press significantly too actually! Pretty power with your wrist back is much greater with pronation intact vs supinated.
@kingwillie206
@kingwillie206 2 года назад
@@ethanjohnston5014 - That’s right. Pronation and supination are always important stabilizers no matter what position you end up in on the table.

Pronation helps on the losing side of the table with a flopped wrist prior to the transition. Look at Ermes vs Levan.

I actually know that pronation help in hook but by watching this why my bicep gets fatigue easily my pronation is fucked up as hell

Quick question: what do you think of the wrist ball compared to the judo belt doing this?
@201_armwrestling
@201_armwrestling 4 года назад
As long as the band is on the wrist, below the thumb it will work great. But I think for pronation the judo belt is more versatile as it allows more set ups.

@@201_armwrestling you're certainly right about the judo belt being more versatile! Thanks for the answer brother. Keep up the great content :)

If one is STRONG enough..then it don't matter how you pull, their arm Will go down!;; Just like Richard lupus does!!; Just pull the dam arm down, no technique needed!!!

Well, try getting STRONG enough to beat Levan, Dave, Vitaly....good luck. Have you seen The mountain pulling Devon. That should give you a hint of the strength you should have to win against a PRO.

Daniel sir How much weight lift on hook pronation please reply me sir
@201_armwrestling

It depends on the angle. Depending on that, I lift 50 to 60 kg. You can start with 20 kg if you have never done this exercise. Also, anything above 40 kg is very good.
