Hey Daniel, if this is a weakness, how often would you recoment to do this exercise per week ? I one time eneugh for good progress ? ( with 1 time sparring per week +) thx for yor answer

is that really training pronation though? with such a low attachment? its basically on your wrist.

Yes, the lower the band is on your palm, the more you isolate the pronation. Try it, you will see you are much weaker this way. And remember that in a hook, that's where the oponent puts all the pressure, on your wrist.

Would you say its better around the wrist how you put it or around the thumb/ hand ? I've tried this before around the hand but its really hard on the wrist.

For the defensive hook position it's definetely better with the belt on the wrist below the thumb. It's because that's where all the pressure is placed by the opponent in that defensive position. If you train a neutral position then a 75/25 set up would be more advised.
