You are an amazing artist and inspirational person! Although I am not a trained nor talented artist, your art does not intimidate me even though I can't reach your talent. But you inspire me to be the best I can be. You teach me, give me new ideas to try and most of all you are an amazing Christian witness. Thank you for all you do for so many.

Sandy this was absolutely wonderful! I watched this video several times pausing in between just to see the work of art. I love your faith and how you transform it into such beauty. You can put down Matt gel medium and use whatever you want on your pages as the gel medium creates a barrier that keeps things from bleeding through the pages. So go crazy and have no fear. You can also use clear gesso but that's a little pricey. So just use gel medium. Mod podge is a Matt gel medium btw.

+Tina Stephens those work fine, I'm just not a fan of how they make the paper feel. I love that I can use mediums that don't need it and get good results ❤️

I love this idea of using a large sketch book for lettering ideas and then using some of them in your Bible. I think I will try this. Thanks for sharing it and the inspiration. Your work is beautiful.

While watching the video, I constantly had to pause it and screenshot every design I liked. I normally do that with the bible journaling videos but it has never happened to me that I literally screenshotted every single page :D I really, really like your designs, they're so diverse and pretty on their own as well as together. I might transfer some of them into my bible, so thank you very much for the great inspiration! I'm so looking forward to seeing more from you

What an inspirational video! Thinking about starting Bible journaling. I don't read much in the Holy Scripture and hope that the journaling will help me to read more. But it's difficult to find the right Bible in Dutch to journal. So if someone Dutch reads this and can give me advise, please do!

Sarah Noyes you can use your computer to create the wording for your margins. Change your margins in the program (I love google docs it's free and has awesome fonts) to 2" and then use different sizing and fonts to complete what you want to say. Then print it out and place behind your bible page and trace first with a pencil and then use either an illustrated faith pen (made to not bleed through) or prep your page with mat medium gel like mod podge so any pen/marker you use won't bleed through. If you want a more calligraphy look do an extra stroke on the DOWN strokes of the lettering. It gives a faux calligraphy look. After doing this for a bit you will get the hang of it and eventually be able to write that way yourself without using a template made on your computer.
