Did you know there is more than just 1 paradiddle pattern?
The paradiddle is simply a combination of singles and doubles and you can move those around. So you might only know the first paradiddle: RLRR LRLL but did you know there are WAY more options than that?

My drum teacher back in the days showed me a few paradiddles but never tought me to apply effectively on the kit. Thank you for this !! Like given and Subscribed !!

Give them a try!! The rudiments are the language of drumming, if you master those, you can play anything! With the right tools, it gets A LOT of fun to practice your rudiments ;)

Learn your doubles ,singles , paradiddles , paradiddle-diddles and flams and you can already cover a lot of ground with just those. Slow is smooth -smooth is fast!

Just play the pattern first until you get it without stopping. Then try playing to a metronome to get the strokes even. Right now they might not sound very musical until you get them up to speed and then you will notice that just by muscle memory that you can place them in with your grooves that you play. They will slowly sink into your subconscious and manifest themselves into your playing without you even noticing it.

Haha yeah its a tricky one right?! Just play it slow and controlled and relaxed for some time and it will come!! Promise ;)

Raise the dB on your audio. Your video is excessively quiet. But still good info, thumbs up.

This is why I was never meant to be a musician. I can't really hear the difference. The first three sound the same and the last one a little different. Glad there are people that can though.
