This video is the farmer's guide to easy bountiful yam production. The research is splendid. But how can any interested farmer get access to this novel innovation? Is visit to your research station allowed?
Like many farming practices introduced by researchers, there is too much talk and 'white coat' ideas. How many farmers can afford the bear to sterile greenhouse conditions? It might be OK to to use the one-node idea in the lab but to allow for redundancy, two nodes sounds more realistic. I would prefer a lecture or demointbe field showing the various stages if development, procedures and list if chemicals /additives applied.
It can be done indoors. Just out of direct sunlight.The screen apart from reducing exposure to sunlight is also to maintain humidity and prevent exposure to diseases.
