Rez Dogs was excellent advocacy for indigenous folks, too, because it showed them as living breathing modern people. Far too many depictions show them as history that's gone and forgotten.

This has been such a boom time for indigenous actors and actresses. I really hope Lily Gladstone wins that Oscar her role was incredible. Huge fan of rez dogs, I really gotta see Rutherford Falls

She's delightful. I love that she has a good skill set to survive in Hollywood because indigenous roles for a main character are rare.

That drives me crazy. Yes, Indigenous leads seem rare but roles aren’t. We never hear “White roles are-“ because human is too often presumed white. She’s got the skills. For any role. I want to see more of our stories but we can also just see more of our (and all) people in the the characters that already exist.

Been a fan since I saw Rhymes for Young Ghouls (a few years after release), especially after seeing Devery in Reservation Dogs, knocked it out of the park on all fronts. Was a bit sad she didn't have more of a presence/role in Echo, but did a great job, hope to see more Devery in the future.

She’s fantastic and was great in Reservation Dogs, one of my fave shows over the past few years. Everyone involved did a great job. Loved it Underused in Echo, but that’s okay.
