I've never had that stage ,don't normalize it ..its ok to be jealous or selfish maybe a few times when you can't help it but being toxic is not ok ,also Devi is not all about selfishness or jealousy, her personality is much more than that.

Right now, this boy I like talks to me and sometimes I think he likes me too but then he stops and that's pretty annoying...but then he just starts up again and then I'm like, "dude what the heck??" and then he starts talking to OTHER girls but he looks at me while doing so, so I think he's honestly *trying* to make me jealous, idk. But, it's not all the time. I don't think they were saying normalize it but more, "it's normal" which, if you think about it, is actually completely different. I'm not saying it's normal among all teenagers, you, for example, you didn't go through that, but it's typically something that happens with teens and pre-teens. That's all.
Devi doesnt seem ready for a relationship but when she is, it'll definitely be better with devi and Ben. The way she treated aneesa was unjustified honestly.
man devi is not selfish it's the situation and the timing. It's never in her favour. The problem with her is that she cannot share her favourite person. It's the same with her friends.
Tbh I’m sort of in the middle. Cuz Devi was kind of being a bitch to aneesa just cuz of Ben but aneesa on the other hand knew something had happened between Devi and Ben yet she still flirted with him
I like the chemistry that Ben and Devi have is incredible and just by seeing how they look at each other I feel that if they fell in love and already liked each other from the beginning they just didn't realize it

She’s dealing with grief, it’s different for all of us. You can’t just leave a trait it isn’t that simple, and when anessa came she felt threatened, she was the only Indian kid and then another Indian, who’s “prettier” and “better” then her comes in and starts dating ben, it was to much for her
i feel like everyone is saying that she is toxic but remember her dad died and she loved him so much and she got paralyzed and btw she was never like this really before her dad died ,expect her relationship with her mom before, and shes a teen and lets all be honest were kinda like her. its normal to be jealous even if its in a obsessive way lol
devi have made bad choices after her trauma with her bad behavior and still working on it but i’m seeing progress like finally taking a decisive choice at the end of the season… so sorry it was the wrong one lol i think ben will notice his true feelings and devi will as well! what will be good because paxton neeeds space to grow as a character himself!
I love Never Have I Ever becus Devi is such a realistic person. But i feel like, for everything she's done, she expects people to forgive her. And i'm not saying she hasn't had her own share of consequences but not everything has to go your way Devi. She is also quite self-centred and selfish. Paxton is my favourite character has so much character development. Devi is quite boring to see cause there isn't any character development. She keeps messing up which is normal but she can't just keep making the SAME mistakes.
I felt that Devi was a better friend this season and really tried to do things better but I think her evolution will only be really palpable when she takes time out of all this drama and really focuses on her own recovery, she has good intentions but in the end always makes bad decisions
