Those care taking scenes really hit different in your 30s 😂. St. Vincent is one of my favorite Kleypas heroes because he hides a soft heart behind that jaded snarky exterior. Also the way he turns all of his attention and focus to making Evie happy is next level. I love there son Gabriel’s book too (Devil in Spring/Ravenels). The humor/banter in that one’s is great!

Fun fact: Daisy and Cam Rohan WERE supposed to be a couple. But due to changes with her publication, Kleypas ended up deciding on another story for Daisy and of course, Cam having his own story for the Hathaway's instead.

Sebastian started out as a “bad boy” but he totally redeems himself, he’s definitely one of my favorites. Evie’s family were pieces of crap and the way Sebastian protects her from them was perfection. I also really enjoyed the care taking scene and how he was. It was hilarious 😂

You may know this by now if you've read Dreaming of You (if not, please consider reading and reviewing those two books) but Jenner`s was the main competitor of Derek Craven's club. They had an intense rivalry and Ivo Jenner in his prime shows up and interacts with our heroine Sarah. She's one of my favorite Kleypas heroines BTW. Dreaming of You was released in 1994 and Derek immediately became my favorite hero in romance ever, a title he held for more than ten years when The Devil in Winter came out and Sebastian burst onto the scene in all his glory.
