This video shows the motion capture actors and how they got the movements of DMC3 down. Has one of my favorite mixes of The Devils Cry as the music on it.
You know, it's really too bad Arkham had to die at the end of the game. Sure, I guess it would have been anti-climactic if he didn't, but Adam Clark was just so good in the role that it makes me sad we'll never see him do it again.
For a 9 year old Comment..I'd agree,Arkham was purely evil as he had no remorse for killing his wife and he even had the audacity to stab her daughters thighs shamelessly. He even played deceit on Lady begging her not to kill him but of course she had enough of his excuse,Arkham is the best villain for dmc3. Now it's humans who are the bad guys,We may got Arius in Dmc2 but Arkham certainly knocks it out of the park. But still if they ever planned on making Dmc2 remake then I think it the outcome would have been different with a lot of improvements. Let's just hope Capcom can do that
On the official soundtrack, it's known as "Motion Capture Movie [bonus track]" and is track 25 on the 3rd disc of the DMC3 soundtrack. If you know your DMC3 music, you'll notice that's is another mix of "The Devils Cry" which is the DMC3 theme song. But there you go, all the info and the name of the actual track from the soundtrack.
It would be great if they did a... 30 minutes version... with more great music like that, like Divine Hate (the one they used in the Demo bonus video), it's just amazing to hear at great DMC3 music with the dialogues from the game in the background
The women who plays Lady, she's a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwan Doo! I only discovered recently how stunning she is. Also, Vergil's actor used to play the Quantum Ranger in Power Rangers Time Force! HEEHEE!!
This is really cool. I always assumed the mocap was just for the talking scenes and the action scenes were hand animated, but it's really neat to see that they actually did all of it
Remember most of these actors all started in power rangers. Quantum ranger vergil and blue light speed ranger dante, and black ranger and green zeo ranger nero.
@Espio16 That's because that's the technology that Playstation Move uses. It's motion capture technology built as a controller. It's why Move is so responsive and can make something move with near perfect percision the way the stuff in games move. So the MoCap you're seeing in this video, is the same tech used for Move.
You can get them just about anywhere online. Not sure if any stores in the US carry them. I got all 3 of the soundtracks together for about $40 on Ebay, so I guess you could try there.
Shawn Mcpherson & David Baker are the names I tend to see as artist on the CD's, but CAPCOM, the company that made it is also a likely thing to be used as artist. Some soundtracks tend to be like that. But those are the names that are seen on the soundtrack, good luck finding it.
Felix Ferdian Devil's Never Cry. Shawn "Shootie" HG McPherson wrote the lyrics and sang the dark demonic vocals, while David Allen Baker sung the clear vocals. Tetsuya Shibata composed the song.
since Capcom is out of idea on what to do DMC, please just remake DMC3: Dante's Awakening. With updated graphic and style balancing...and a freaking proper PC version. Just call it DMC: Dante's Awakening.
Awesome stuff but the song bugs me, that singing in the end is irritating. The main song that starts in Chapter 2 in Dante's playtime is the best song!
