Extra Tips: Avoid starting your combos with the Cavaliere, it is a slow weapon and Vergil will most likely be able to defend or dodge it. When you use Mega Cascade, activate your Devil Trigger to increase the damage even more Prioritize your Devil Trigger bar to use Royal Guard When you use Balrog, prioritize using kick mode, because blow mode makes Vergil able to escape your combo (that's if you're just using the standard blow mode attack).
Great video, man! Tons of useful info. I had no idea that Dance Macabre deflected the blades. Another useful tip is that when Vergil uses summoned sword around you, you can simply equip Balrog and jump to get rid of them. A well timed Friction (the divekick with Balrog) can also deflect Blistering Swords in a really impressive way.
That shotgun is a miracle worker at deleting orbiting mirage blades. You're also making me wish I brought Balrog and The dual Kalinas along for my first time trying to beat Vergil. I left 'em because I wasn't that good with 'em and it'd be suicidal to use the slow dual rocket launchers and the PUNCH and KICK weapon against a vorpal katana.
Balrog and Double Kalinna Ann are absurdly strong weapons against Vergil. Balrog can parry basically all of Vergil's Katana moves, and Double Kalinna Ann does a lot of damage to him (you can activate Devil Trigger to increase this damage even more)
Great tips, maybe you can do a video with the most efficient strategy? I know its not like theres a lot of newbies, but maybe it would help experienced players to destroy Vergil (or another bosses) more stylish
@@gabrizel6786 yeah, Vergil is pretty simple (wait for opening after attack and just throw everything). I can beat him easily as Nero and did no damage in BP, but still dont know all tricks
