Furies aren't cheap. Each of their attacks give you such an insanely long window to react. All you need is knowledge of their attack pattern. Each time they start to wind up, corresponds to a different attack pattern. I actually really enjoy the way they are designed. They don't feel cheap or unfair imo.
@@Desiderium im glad you enjoy fighting them but for me after getting the plat even though i nearly always parried them with cerberus they are cheap as hell
@@Desiderium the issue is less that they’re too difficult and more that they’re just annoying imo only being able to hit them like two or three times before they go (and stay) invulnerable until you parry them again is obnoxious, it’s like the judeccas but somehow even worse
Not a strategy but I think I've spent about an hour total trying to parry Fury with the void slash just because I think the move looks cool. I have not made progress.
Forgot the channel, but there was a guy that parried a Fury with Vergil stabbing himself with World of V. Then he killed it with Vergil removing the sword when the animation ends.
For some reason I'm able to perfectly parry a Fury with Void Slash I don't know how I do it but I'm able to. It's possible, so keep believing in yourself!
Thats what i usually go to as well. stinger parry, drive, helm breaker. the second loop should stun and give you a free dragon breaker for the kill. You can cheese them aswell with void slash. Parry, trick to them and then chain void slash until dead. Very easy and effective, but boring as hell of course
Interesting. I'll keep these in mind. I usually use Mirage Edge's Air Stinger since it has a ton of active frames. After a few of these, they're stunned.
You can also do it on the ground for the million stab just incase if you miss, the million stab can save you and parry the fury attack and may stun them
You can use the explosion from sin dt Also Mirage Edge has two attacks per input so it's great at parrying the fury It's good at parrying pretty much everything Just practice in the void that's what it's there for And if you can't be bothered to practice and the fury is already teleporting then just use deep stinger
Another way to parry fury is to trick up and do helm breaker. It's not as easy to parry with as flush, but if you pull it off, it will also add stun counters to the fury, which, when you gather enough stun counters will put him in a heavy stagger stun
Beowulf's Lunar Phase parry with Mirage Edge's Overdrive has prooven to be an effortless parry and a great combo initiator for me. It also actually deals quite a lot of initial damage.
Beowulf uppercut+the summon sword where all swords fire at one enemy. If you charge uppercut it's usually 2 reps to kill him, releasing swords at the right moment keeps fury in range of both parts of the uppercut. If you have dt if you pop at the right part you can also keep him in the hitbox without swords and all 3 hits will kill him in a single rep.
Stinger parry --> Drive --> whatever you want, or Trick --> Helm --> Drive --> Stinger --> repeat Did that on 70 + camera exploit. Didn't think i'd make it, but eyy.
Well, Beowulf is a pretty good weapon for Furies. I also use blades to surround them, and then they go up to the air so I can perfom air attacks. But the most effective way to VANISH them is to "feel motivated" when they spawn from the ground, if you know what I mean...
Another super cheese strategy I did to get me through DMD and BP was constantly mashing RB+B or R1+O to teleport to them and spam lunar phase or spam stinger, as soon as they teleport away hit RB+B to teleport to them. Rinse and repeat spammage until they die, this constantly and cheaply pressures the fury and they'll constantly try to teleport away while you get a bunch of good hits in.
Tho im not sure of the timing for the others ive found with Vergil wait till they do that wind up teleport attack and tap 2 around the second they disappear. Should help you parry them. Figuring this out almost makes it unfair 2 them.
You can also use the SDT transformation animation right when he's about to attack you to stagger him, then turn it off to not consume it, then charge up the beowulf
One strat I sometimes use in the fight just mix it up is to use the Beast uppercut move and charge it to time it when they start attacking. I’ve used both those strats in the video and they both work well.
I keep trying to Lunar Phase them. Sometimes it works, other times.. eh. Honestly though, in my honest opinion: safety first. That’s my reason for cheesing any enemy if needs be (like parrying nobody masks). I’d rather not die first, but style too, of course.
For this Fury bastard, I always get low ranks. Yesterday I got B rank in mission 12 (SOS) which is pathetic with Vergil. Thanks for this video. Now I can beat the crap out of that shit.
Playing with Vergil + the LDK Mod... 10 Of those little shi** in a small room -> even the best DMC V player can eat a pizza and thinks " nahh, i'm not doing a no Damage run ... ".
You actually missed a strat with bewulf if you do the forward trick where you spin (I don't remember the name for the move sue me) you can also parry them using that.
I love and hate this enemy, i love because he have a badass look and I hate him because I have to train to much and now, I can beat him without difficulty.
I love and hate fighting them lol it's like a game of damn chess, getting hit and countering them making my brain run a hundred miles to see their next moveset ect but when They're being summoned in a room i just smash them with HELL ON EARTH in sin devil trigger mode because. IM NOT DEALING WITH THAT!!!XD
Is really cheap, but the beowulf combo with multickicks just at charge 1 is pretty consistent to get a the parry, then just go for heavy rain into dragon breaker and you will take out a good chunk of health even in DMD.
A better strategy is to to use trick then use rapid slash then while virgil is sheathing yamato use trick to the enemy for no damage and if there are multiple enemies it will stun the but in vmd mode it can take out crowds quickly and rinse and repeat quickly
I would also like to know more about this. I know you have to have a certain amount 9f meter but besides that I can't can't consistently block and am confused as to what I'm doing wrong. I suppose I should just look it up but I been trying to figure it out. If you ever figured it out since you comment def let me know. Thanks!
I didn't like the Fury nearly as much as I like the Dreamrunner from DmC Devil May Cry. It's just a better enemy in both design and function. The fury is just another lizard demon on top of the pile of lizard demons Devil May Cry 5 carts out. On top of being more sinister the Dreamrunner has an air of mystery considering his face is hidden behind a mask. And on top of that the Dreamrunner telegraphs it's attacks more fairly. I feel the same way about the magic projectile goat demon. To me it just couldn't compare to the Witches from DmC Devil May Cry. Not only where the witches more visually interesting but their attack telegraph's were easier to read. All in all I'd say with the exception of Devil May Cry 1 DmC Devil May Cry had my favorite enemy designs.
@@רותםטמסות I've started noticing more people looking back on DmC Devil May Cry favorably. And by that I don't just mean they like it now. Now that people know that it won't replace the original series I've noticed that even the criticism for this game is more fair and balanced then it was when it was first released. I've had many conversations about this game with a lot of people and even if they don't end up agreeing with me the majority of them at least understand my perspective. There are people still set in there hatred for the game but I really enjoy it and I enjoy talking about it. So it's definitely worth it.
