No hes just as motivated.the doppelganger is a exact replica of vergil apart from the looks (unless your in sdt). Meaning vergil likes to dance but doesnt admit / show it.
Vergil used to repress his human side, while Dante did his demon one. Dante is just as capable of being apathetic and destructive as Vergil is of being a wacky woohoo pizza man.
He calls it "droll" which is "to act in a curious or unusual in a way that provokes dry amusement." Which means Vergil thinks it's funny. Edit: spelling mistake fixed
@@maninthemask6275 I mean all of the Sparda boys are overly dramatic and V was basically just Vergil without his active repression of everything human soooo...
@@neronero2102 if you're asking how you get the taunt you have to pay 3 million red orbs at the store for each of the taunts. As for activating them I can't remember how to do that
Not sure if anyone knows this but the taunt where virgil pulls out his book that isn’t just a taunt it actually fills 3 bars of DT gauge so if you are ever in desperate need of DT before a fight you need to keep taunting to get him to do this particular one. It makes sense because when playing as V i think its left or right direction button he pulls out that exact book and reads from it that fills his DT up
I bought the DLC yesterday and that would have been good to know before finishing Bloody palace lmao that was way too intense for me as I've never played Vergil before (Not played 3 and 4 is too hard to git gud for me x) )
Well once he moves out of his dad's shadow mentally, it would help if he would stop using Force Edge (the unawakened version of Sparda [take note of Mirror Edge's shape]).
Both the Spardas have summon to body magic. How else can Dante lug around all the crap in his equipment? Same way he changes styles. Word is still out on Nero.
I just found out Dante also taunts back at Vergil when Vergil taunts too much at him, I did that on mission 20 dmd. I can't remember the whole sentence but it's something like this isn't like you and be serious or smth.
weapon realism for me is always a pretty big part when it comes to enjoying a game - its not *crucial,* obviously, but the little details really help sell me on a game - so seeing vergil do actual, honest to god kendo warm-ups warms my dorky little heart
it shows that not only he has experience and knowledge of his weapon, it also shows he has respect for the techniques and culture of the human warriors (samurai) that came before him. Something about him doing it so smooth and calm without traveling at light speed makes me think he really appreciates where his fighting style came from. or I might just be reading too deep into it idk
Shame that whenever he sheaths his weapon it clips into the sheath He also never sheaths it properly Also the position of the sheath will magically turn backwards during his attacks I don't see how that's weapon realism
@@pingaspearce9403 Well first of all...yeah it clips. Oh well. You'll likely be playing at such a fast speed that you can't see it most of the time, since you're too focused on NOT DYING. Second...okay, I'll give you that. Third, animations are made a specific way, if something is out of place, they automatically change to whatever the animation needs, this is just a thing with games. Yes they could've changed his idle animation slightly, but it's really not that big a deal. Also "weapon realism" in a Devil May Cry game is such a rare thing that you should be happy there's even any *at all*
I like the idea that that big V in his SDT's chest is just a mini portal to his pocket dimension where he stores his books. I imagine he has a whole library inside there
It's really random to get these to pull off so thank you for taking your time and putting these in a good order and also showing they can all be done with SDT, plus the health bug showing lock on was a good idea
@@sulthanarya3281 _ignoring the minor spelling error_ Not... Really? In the final fight, before Nero shows up, he has Yamato and the two flames on his forearms, so no.
@@yudalaksamana5070 you have to beat bloody palace to unlock it and to do the taunt hold down the left stick and rapidly press the taunt button(no idea how to do it on pc)
If for some reason you're ever in a position to do so, you can do a Judgement Cut off the end of the taunt at 3:44 if you release Y/Triangle right when Yamato clicks into place.
You aren't. It's one of the best taunts in the game. The only problem with it is that you can only really use is right after a wave is done and you ended it at an SSS rank
i am fairly confident in saying vergil's doppelganger bop like that is vergil's inner self like, he *wants* to dance but has the super dark and edgy façade that he can't just bust a move so when his doppelganger does it he gets all embarrassed and that's why he slices it
I just realized that most seething animations of the sword, they actually clip half of it inside the seethe and continue on instead of placing the tip of the sword and closing it as it would normally work.
