This is where I drew the impression, that rather than Mihrimah defeating Shah, Shah herself REFUSE to fight her. As Mihrimah mentioned before, Shah sees her as child, and therefore dismisses Mihrimah's provocation or any sort of antagonistic action against her. But more than that, Mihrimah is a member of the dynasty, where Shah swears unwavering loyalty unto; which is also ironic, because you can also observe that she is quite cold towards her family (could be a facade to project a strong appearance, or gives you the assumption that maybe, she could've been treated as a least favorite). For me, this is one Shah's complex characteristics which makes her interesting. But my most favorite is how she fought against her abusive husband. For a villain, Shah portrays so much admirable traits, that it's not difficult to love her in the end.
I think she knows she would lose because Mihirimah has more power than her. They messed with Hurrem because they saw her as less than and not having power but an equal Sultana and Sultan's eyeball naah bruh! dat naah go fly!! heads a go roll!!
She knows mihrima will find a way to side her from the way just like she did with Mustafa and mahidevran She knows if Mihrimah tries what Hürrem tried so many times and failed, Mihrimah will 100% succeed that's why she accepted her defeat already
I’m going to miss Sah. She was a magnificent antagonist and a very well written character. Also, I wish that Mercan could have followed her. Their goodbyes were heartbreaking.
Hats off to both actors, they played their roles perfectly. Mercan just melted my heart. He loved his Sultana very much and the actor did a great job with his facial expressions and voice. You can really feel his pain.
Goodbye my dear beloved Sah Sultan. For me she was most clever and most strongest enemy of Hürrem. I loved her, i hated her but in the end i was sad when Sah Sultan character ended. Deniz Çakır will always be my most favorite actress after Vahide and Meryem. She was one of the best things on 3. season of this series. Only shame was that Meryem not played Hurrem to the end of 3. season.
I agree with you. It's like the Firuze arc when it ended, I was sort of sad that Firuze had to leave the Palace. It would've been more interesting if they've shown some more fighting.
Mercan had deep love and respect for Sah Sultana.True she was the one and only strong antagonist of Hurrem. I agree her rivalry with her helped Hurrem grow. I respect her character 🙏
@@sexyhijabidancer2139 Yeah of course. If he was just faithful to her, now imagine the same scene with clearly romantic overtones between Syumbul and Hurrem. With the same touches, looks and words. Doesn't work very well, does it?
I didn't like any of them, but actually it was sad to watch. I always suspected Mercan being in love with Shah sultan - no one can be so loyal unless he loves that person. It was sad. I liked Shah on my own way, even if she was a bad person.
Right?! He had a total Princess Bride thing going for her, all “as you wish”. Sah might be a bad person, but she was good to Merçan and I wish they’d worked out. I’d guessed he loved her… but this scene always makes me think it was reciprocated and Sah simply wasn’t in a position to act on it. Bummer.

Sumbul's way of moving is both hilarious and unique. At 1.35 he literally glides silently from one side of the scene to the other, in a matter of seconds, as though on roller skates!
She says that like she even could fight mihrimah. After what hatice did, Suleiman would not hesitate to kill her too if his lovely daughter implicated her, especially after learning a spy was in her own palace from his sister
It was brilliant move that Hurrem SultN always kept her children out of the drama. As the enemy never got to know their thinking. All the years that the sultanas and Mustafa attacked Hurrem. They ignored the pain and hurt they caused Hurrems children. That was their major. Mistake. Never underestimate anyone even when you consider them a child or weak. Mihrimah Sultan dropped the hammer on Shah. She never saw it coming Ok .
Huh? No. She didn't fight because she would lose and she has a hard time to accept defeats as we saw. This time its about her life, she would be executed if she disobeyed mihrimah sultan order.
I think it's more that, like Hümaşah in the Kosem series, Şah no longer saw any reason to stay after loosing all of those that she had come to fight for (or against in Hürrem's case) in the first place. She didn't see any point in continuing to fight a battle that only hurt and exhausted her, which is fair.
@@Redluna32 humasah in kosem series didn't do anything bad to be executed nor kosem was about to accuse her for anything, humasah left on her own will, Shah was exiled.
I dont think she had a "soft spot" for Mihrimah...i think she realized Mihrimah meant business and Shahs hands were tied if she didnt want to fall into disfavor with suleiman, and if she wanted to keep her dignity intact she needed to leave immediately
@@DimSK. she could have easily manipulated everything just like she was doing. Mihirimah also didn't do anything when selim and nurbanu took over. It's not like she can't do. But she didn't just like shah. There is no more reason to do
Finally that snake is gone !! Uff !! After having such a defeat , she shamelessly saying " I don't wanna fight with my own blood ". I'm sure that's not her concern
Hafsa,Ibrahim,hatice,Shah.. next stop: fool Mustafa and mahidevil. All those who lost previously only slowed the process and work of hurrem sultan, they can't stop what is coming, they only gave time to Mustafa and mahidumb.
@@Swiftreaders4668 mihrimah didn't lose nor anyone exiled her! She left on free will.. it's two different things lol, selim would never exile mihrimah, no chance, and real life is proof for that.
" i trust only you in this world " this showed the soft spot in cold hearted shah sultan. She was a tough sultan, gave good fight to hurrem. Obviously i would miss mercan aga and shah sultana bonding in the series. I loved mercan bcs he was the only loyal person to his sultana.. all others betrayed their sultanas atleast once.
All of his sisters are devil .just like their mother Validevil ..👹 Sultan Suleiman should Not allow to live his sisters with his family in the palace .. they're were SNAKES .😢😢👹👹👹
These two definitely had a secret romance. They both loved one another. The two characters are from real life and Sha was deeply influenced by Mercian’s Sufi Islam. Sufi’s get mystic, and Sha knew she’d see him again, this time with no master slave dynamic. He serves her brother, not her.
Arrivederci Sah Sultan, the smartest, most cunning, and most worthy Hurrem's enemy. An evil Princess who did charity as well. Every Hurremist may hates her to the core, but all her hostiles teaches Hurrem to grow stronger and more tactical in season 4 (watch Hurrem's divan influence in season 4, it's amazing). She still a gentlewomen who accepts her defeat gracefully by decides to have truce (considering Hurrem is not yet found, all Sehzades already govern the provinces, Hatice was dead, & no husband in the Divan) and ends war between dynasty member to prevents more chaos. _Unlike Fatma Sultan who arrives later and gives more friction that makes war between dynasty member worser_ _All Sah-Tan-ist (Sah Sultan's fans) surely will misses season 3 anyway_ ==== Historically, Sah & Mihi never been an enemy. Sah later married to Merkez Effendi, lived & died peacefully in the capital.
Yes in series mihrimah banished her, Shah was the second strongest enemy of hurrem sultan after Ibrahim. The strongest among the sisters. In real life it's as you said.
Actually I love Sah for exactly the reasons you said--she's the most realistic of Suleiman's sisters to stand against Hurrem. I loved that she decided to attack from the political side of things (something that, in retrospect, I wish they'd let Hatice do too). With Fatma it felt like a return to the old standard of "throw a new girl in Suleiman's way" which was just so played out that the fun sapped right out of things.
@@Redluna32 Sah also treat all Sehzades fairly. While Fatma is just an evolved version of Hatice (spoiled & only throw a new concubine to Sultan's bed) with these additional characteristics: 1. More flirty and never tired to chase for a handsome man😄🤣 2. Gossipy, bully, party animal & body shamer 3. Sided Sehzade Mustafa and plans to have him on the throne 4. Causes friction and tension between dynasty member, especially Selim & Bayezid 5. Doesn't have a shame to hostile to full blood royal a.ka Mihi 6. Firestarter who paid the anarchyst civilians to confront Hurrem
@@ChickenSoup736 ++6) fatma made fun of hurrem JUST because she was in menopause and couldn't have never children again. so she didn't know what to say against her and she decided to choose a natural and normal thing, that happens to every woman. fatma really would judge me for wearing a bikini 😔😕
I now know the reason why Shah is soo brave 🤩🤩 cause she's the daughter of sultan selim I but not Hafsa sultan daughter and of to another woman her mother must have been just like her 💓🤩🤩🤩
It’s not her place to ask him to come. It’s not his place to just run away with her. I know we all wanted them to have the ideal ending, but be realistic about it. He worked for the sultan and she gave him one final order to stay. That’s the best they could do for one another. However with the way they wrote him off, maybe they ended up running away together, who knows 🤷🏽♀️
I thought Shah Huban was the only sister of Suleiman who was loyal to him. Even when she left she still wanted to think about Suleiman's safety, but it couldn't be denied either that Shah also remains influenced to become hostile towards Hurrem.
What goes around comes around. Hurrem too didn't have a very good fate either. After Mustafa died, some sort of curse fell upon the palace and after Bayazids death, the gloom was unbearable. Mihrimah had the worst life ever. The best time was untill Valide Hafsa Sultan was alive, after her demise a downward spiral begin.
And people say Hurrem is cruel? I think among all Sultanas, Mihirimah is the most cruel and next is Shah Huban and Hurrem. Not only smart, but Mihirimah proves her worth despite her young age. I would pledge a loyalty to such woman if I'm her slave 🤣
I hated her....but IMO this was the most heart-rending scene in this series (not including the Kosëm series) including the other deaths and break ups and the children deaths. There's just something about the way they loved but never acknowledged it and it just could never ever be for them ...but I had a lot of respect for her despite actually hating the character (because everybody else who had these feelings they didn't resist well or stay strong... The others got together but couldn't keep it down or acted on it or sacrifice being close to each other so it's not to see each other and feel constant pain) not her though, instead she was strong enough to keep him right there by her side 20/7 it just said a lot about her strength her caring . she was the only truly worthy opponent of Hürrem. I did actually like Mercan though.
Shah was beautiful....I didn't care to much for her but I liked her A LOT more than Hatice and that other obnoxious sister. I could not help but like Mercan. His loyalty, intelligence, I had no doubt he would of been a heck of a fighter and would kill without hesitation or regret if it came down to it.... But his obvious love of Shah from the start along with her pain and struggle to avoid it, yet keep him by her side for so long really got to me.
Mihrima sultan prooved that she daughter of the Haseki Hurrem sultan. Shah huban wouldn't be able to win even if she fought mihrima sultan. As known Mihrima sultan was most powerful princess of ottoman empire.
I love Shah sultan's lips she does have a cleft chin also.. But this scene, is really heart breaking.. Shah loves mercan.. I can feel the pain just by looking into their eyes.. Just by touching each other, tsk.. Haist.. I cried in this scene.. 😭😭😭😭
In the end, the fact that Hatice and Sah tried to conspire Hurrem with Nigar (who ended up kidnapping Mirimah's daughter) was the last straw for Mirimah. At the same time, knowing that Sah was the kind of person who gave constructive feedback to her own fam (mostly to Hatice and sometimes Gulfem), this makes me respect her for at least knowing what they did wrong.
Shah sultan is just like Hafsa sultan. She is more calm. She was so clever that end up Hurrem banished from the palace but she have to stop when it comes to Mihirmah Sultan her niece..Hatice is more bold and directly will show her anger even Padishah himself cannot escape from her anger since she was the most beloved Sultana compared to her other sister even Shah sultan jealous with Hatice because she had closer relationship with Sultan.. Beyhan is a soft Sultana but still can throw a shade and sarcastic..but she didn't want to fight the snake cause she was no longer had a good relationship with his brother.. Lastly, Fatma Sultan..she came to Topkapi Palace to continue her Valide and sisters revenge..She was called the smiling Sultana..but her sweet smile was flavoured with shade and sarcastic..she was smart and successfully defeat hurrem in a several moments but lastly she cannot hold anymore..she didn't defend herself and admit that she was the one who have a bad plan to hurrem..She called Hurrem Iblis..and confess her true feeling to her brother how much she hates hurrem..finally she was banished from the palace .
What i want in this series 1Meryem still Played Until death 2Merchem aga and Firuze Beheand by Hurrem Order and Sulaiman Accept 3 Sulaiman Declare to Publik mehmed Is Favorite Sehzade and Dont early to death 4Cihangir ,Selim and Bayazid dont Act Wors in Front Sulaiman And Hurrem. 5 sulaiman who Know Mahidevran Involved mehmed death. Sorry Bad Gramar
@Hope Logan I think who write this Series Is hurrem hatters or who sekuler person..that why Erdogan who president Turki don't like this drama series...if you ask why this populer in world and so adictic is aktor who played sulaiman,Meryem, mehmed and little mihrimah And ibrahim no more...greating from indonesia.
If you want to check your grammar you can use grammarly, bro. It'll be more interesting if Hatice & Sah still exist in season 4. Hatice may make peace with Hurrem as her daughter, Huricihan married to Bayezid and making her a haseki sultan.
Probably killed by either Hürrem, Rüstem or Mihrimah. Although he could've been slandered and then dismissed or executed by the Sultan. Who knows when it comes to the Devil Triumvirate
