Devil's Dyke UK - Close proximity paragliding trigger warning 

Thanks, it was a busy day and only few thermals really close to the hill.

I might be to come up and see for myself... Any excuse to fly a new site!

I suppose a submarine is always a good idea, especially when it rains.

It has its days. I was out flying on Friday and there were very few people on the hill. If you can find time during the week, you should find days that are quieter.

Dude absolutely no problem... It was very busy and I was happy to get some airtime. Everyone behaved very well and no one got hurt. I'd gladly fly with you again!

Top landings can be difficult. I'm practicing a different line which helps to prevent getting boxed. This was the launch area and it can get busy... When that happens I tend to find a different spot to land

Oh really? Not even in a north wind? I'd love to fly the long ridge to trueli Hill

I've done it several times, out and back. Two things stopped me flying in the UK, frustration with the weather and increasingly overcrowded sites.

@@mikebreen2890 Quite a few of the hangies and the biwingual have stopped flying SHGC sites because of the crowding/fear of a collapsed P/G losing control and crashing down on them. Once ya push out, lock into a thermal and get up to base it's no worries. Ridge soaring on a busy day is pretty stressful yepp

We have small hills in the UK with a lot of paragliders all trying to stay in the lift on the hill. Every now and then a thermal will come through the hill and everyone who wants to get height will find that thermal and start to fly up in it... We are all in the same place to get the thermal that has hit the hill and is giving everyone lift.

I've been watching a few hang gliding videos recently... its so FAST!! I don't think I could handle the speed.. especially when landing!
