I met Devin in 2017 and asked him about this song. He said it was about fighting depression. It's my favorite song . So glad ya got to experience it. Try " Higher " from this same show at Plovdiv.

Hey guys, been a dev fan since he collaborated with Steve Vai. 3 songs he does I believe its Royal Albert Hall last 3 of set. Funeral, Bastard and The Death of Music. All 3 number 1 puts you in a trance and number 2 showcases his vocal abilities. About a half hour but well worth the listen. He gives himself goosebumps singing the last song. Of course there's DeadHead which everyone reacts to but none does these 3. Rock on keep it up.

Yo Travis and Suzy...You guys ar emy new favorite thing to watch, especially Devin stuff....I Discovered him on RU-vid a couple of years ago, Kingdom at Emg Tv, i was blown away, have now since seen him live twice here in Sweden, and he up there with my other favorite musicians, Tool and Gojira, Opeth you name it....Do yourself a favour and check out hhis old band Strapping young Lad...Love or Detox at the retinal circus.....Be safe

I loved this, and your previous 2 Devin reactions! This is one facet of Devy, and it's a masterpiece, but I hope that you will explore his many other facets too. His earlier heavier stuff through Strapping Young Lad is a must.

I'm loving the route you're taking through Dev's work, this is a beautiful path. I'm hoping for something else off the usual track of Kingdom - Deadhead - Death of Music etc March of the Poozers maybe from RAH, or Deep Peace from Plovdiv (more goosebumps from the choir and the solo in that one) I'd love to see someone tackle War from Retinal Circus, that doesn't get the love it deserves. Either way great reaction :)

Curious if hearing some of these bands will influence your music at all. Most great bands are influenced by those of the past and sometimes change when they find new influences. Look at opeth and how their sound has changed. Looking forward to hearing new music from you guys.
